[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use this in the evening which means bath-time before bedtime because it soothes, it calms and helps my baby to sleep better at night. It has a very mild scent and its pump is easy to use. I like the product.
I get compliments on the way my little boy's hair smells from his kindergarten teachers. His full-time teacher finally asked me what I use to wash his hair with and I told her Johnson's Lavender Baby Shampoo so she now buys it for her two teenage boys. She said that other teachers walk up and smell Zachary's hair at school all the time! LOL! I'm usually not a big fan of lavender scents but the lavender scent is this shampoo is different from the others that I've smelled and it lingers awhile so other people notice it. Everyone seems to be very attracted to it (:

I've been buying the Bubble Bath since my grandbabies were infants. Of course, the bbb gets the babies, clean leaving their skin so soft, but also seems to relax them, and soon after the bath/nightime routine, they fall asleep without numerous requests to stay up. Thank you for a lovely product!
I've been using this for years, alternating between original and lavender. This can be used head to toe and eliminates the need for conditioner (although I do a natural pre treat once in a while like an eggs and beer type deal). I do wish they'd bring back the old scent, though! I think this smells good, but the former scent was a favorite.
I love this product and I've used it for years on my kids. It's a light, airy smell and I'm almost sure it calms them down. Will continue to purchase it.
As many other reviews have indicated, this does NOT smell like lavender. It has a distinctly "perfume" scent instead of a natural scent. Also, I have to use a LOT more of this than I used to. Even if I use enough to get a TON of lather, her hair still doesn't feel or smell clean when it dries. After getting this shampoo I tried the Honey Apple Baby Lotion and it smells and works great. I will have to switch to the Honey Apple baby wash too. Disappointed I can't get something that smells lavender from Johnson's anymore.
We used to use this before the "improved formula" came out and we loved the smell. It had a very calming lavender scent to it. Now, with the "Improved Formula" it simply smells like chemicals. While it generally rinses out a little better than before, it down right stinks. I wish Johnson's hadn't gone and messed with a good thing.
This new formula leaves my daughter's hair looking greasy and drab the next day. The old formula was the best. Her hair looked great for a couple days no problem. I used the old formula on my daughters hair for the last 6 years... time to find something new! Why did you change a great product? At least let the consumer have a choice of the old and new formula!!
I've loved this product since I first stumbled upon it 3 or so years ago. For a family on a budget we typically don't buy brand name unless it's truly got something the off brands don't that we really like. For me it was the scent. I absolutely loved it. No, it was never lavender smelling to me but it smelled so GOOD. I loved to bury my nose in my kids hair after a bath and just take it in. I probably had about 4 bottles of it in my cart last I bought it so it lasted me awhile on my two little ones. Well. My son dumped out the last bottle in the bath and I went out to buy more. Highly disappointed when I opened it to find the scent changed. Why on earth would you change a great product?? Why would I pay twice the price for this horrible scent that smells even less like lavender than did the previous? Very unhappy with my purchase and I won't be buying again unless the scent is changed back to the previous.
