I bought this a month ago and my embroidery thread spools fit perfectly!
I actually purchased to display my jewelry .. rings and bracelets. It does the job quite well and it wasn't very expensive.
Nice, sturdy rack. I hung with hooks on framed pegboard in my craft room. Looks very good!
If you have been sewing long enough you will find that you can easily fill more than one row with every shade you own of one colour. I filled one with my cotton thread and needed another for my polyester and silk thread. Both were purchased at Walmart because they have the best price for well made unfinished wood stands.
PERFECT, JUST WHAT I NEEDED. THE STAND CAME FULLY ASSEMBLED AND LOOKS STURDY. VERY PROTECTIVED SHIPPED, A BOX INSIDE ANOTHER BOX WITH BUBBLE PACKING. WOULD BUY AGAIN WHEN I NEED ANOTHER.
I had one of these before and needed another one. Excellent way to organize your threads and have them handy close by the machine. Unfortunately I noticed later on, that JoAnn's fabric is much cheaper. Exact the same thing. Check for prices! But the quality is good and does what it suppose to do! A good buy but pricey!
Got this for the wife but not enough room now for all her colors so I'll have toget a bigger one
Although the quality of this item seems more than adequate, I was disappointed by one aspect. In the item description I read the following: "Flip-out leg and keyhole slots for hanging spools of thread" Well, I understood "keyhole slots" to mean that I could hang this on the wall. Since I purchased this with the intention of de-cluttering some space on my craft table, I was disappointed to learn that there were NO keyhole slots that would enable me to hang it on the wall. I now have to set it up on the table I was trying to de-clutter.
I had two of these along with 2 serger thread racks (which are no longer available) that I donated to Goodwill. Now that I am sewing again I wanted to replace them. I hung my old ones on the wall because they had keyholes on the back for hanging. The description of these said they had keyholes. They did not, so I returned them to the store for a refund. The store sold the identical rack without keyholes for about 30% less. I guess I'll have to figure a way to mount those on the wall. Very disappointed. They are too flimsy to hold thread using the legs. You will find the slightest vibration causes the rack to collapse and all the thread fall off the spools.
Horrible itâs flimsy itâs not strong at all itâs twisted on the side and itâs broken
