[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this original slinky walking spring toy about a month ago and my kids love it. It's very durable. My kids love USEING on the stairs keeps them busy for hours. I definitely recommend trying this slinky.
a great squirrel repeller!
Bought these for my four grandsons. Kept them happy and busy for a long time at Christmas. While us Adults played poker and drank some good red wine. Good times :)). Quality was excellent. Nice and heavy metal . I'm happy I went with this brand .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it got delivered I opened the box and both my boys asked me what it was and how do we use it. Well I couldn't answer because I had never use it before I didn't had one as kid so I wasn't sure what to do until we opened it. We instinctively started to play with it. Then I read online that it can go down the stairs we tried that without conviction and it worked even though our stairs are entirely covered with carpet. My oldest son who is 8 years old and autistic ended up using it the most I think it is now officially his. He can spend hours moving it around. I was really surprised by how fun this metal toy has been.
Same fun slinky we played with as kids - and still walks down the stairs! We bought this to hang on a bird feeding pole to keep the squirrels away. It's fun to watch them bounce and fall trying to climb. There are a few crafty squirrels who will still find a way to shimmy up the links, but it's definitely a deterrent. We bought 3 for all our feeders.

He immediately started to explore different ways to play with his Slinky and he was walking all over the house with it. This is definitely a good choice for kids at his age, it kept him entertained for a long time and his baby brother was also entertained by watching him play. It is also very durable and didn't change shape nor tangle even though he was dragging it everywhere.

My kids keep trying to take it from me and have slinkied it down the front steps but I like it just to have something to play with while I'm sitting on hold. I think I prefer the smaller one but this one is perfectly fine and the size doesn't mess with the fun.

But I got one for my 5 year old son since I guess it's a childhood favorite. He likes to carry it around like a bracelet and see it “fall off” the offer table. It doesn't really go down our stairs but we have carpet so I don't know if that's the problem. The slinky seems to be ok and in good shape even after some rough play and lots of stretching
The boys bent it three minutes after taking it out of the box.
The slinky is great. It is a very durable, thick metal. I was disappointed with the shipping method though. The slinky was inside the nice box, which was place within a bag. So by the time it arrived at our home, the box was damaged and had to be taped together to hold the slinky for wrapping. I am not sure why it was not sent in a box to keep it from being damaged.
