I am unsure what the thread size is on the output side of this valve. My closest guess is it's the same as faucet threads. Like where an aerator goes on the end of your kitchen faucet but wasn't able to find a way to adapt such a thing to hose easily. I don't think an aerator would even work because if you didn't need to adapt it because there's nothing for the o ring to seal against. You could Teflon it I suppose. In the end I ended up re-tapping the hole to 1/2 NPT. And it works great. The hole was the perfect size already and it doesn't leak with good Teflon tape. However, my application is very low pressure. If needing it for something more than 4' of head pressure on an ibc tote, I would find a different valve. To JustRite: Put a more useful thread in it and it would be more stars. Or at least say what it is in the description.
