This is a nice set. I looked at others with a much bigger price tag & the quality was about the same. The case is a nice heavy duty case it will last a long time .. The only problem I had with this is that I got two blue balls..But if there is a while there's a way.so I would say buy it. The site to store was great or have it delivered to your front door..THERE IS A REPLACEMENT LIST DO NOT LOSE THING WILL BREAK ADVENTUROUSLY... So just buy & get out there & have some fun ..... :)
Product was better made than I expected after reading other reviews. Mallets came assembled and appear to be quite sturdy. Had a nice carrying/storage case also. Have only used once or twice at family gatherings but I am pleased with the product.
We seniors are getting out exercise..
I bought this as a gift for my nephew so he could play outside. He really enjoys it.
Unfortunately as someone else mentioned here our Croquet set arrived with one of the mallets that would not thread on to the handle. Two of the others had bad plastic connectors. The set seems like it would be good if it were built correctly but we will return this set and try a different one. We tried calling the company to see if we could get replacement parts for the defective ones but their only suggestion was to return it.
The product was fine AFTER we glued the stick part to the mallets... The mattel part was stripped so when we screwed the sticks into it... it would just keep turning and never lock into place...so we had to glue them in... but after that we had lots of fun with them.....
The handles do not fit in the mallet heads rendering the product useless.
We were very disappointed in this croquet set! First of all, we could not even get one of the mallets together. Most of the others would hardly stay together. We would never recommed this set to anyone!
The hancles would not screw into the mallet head nor would the mallet head screw onto the handle. Could not use at all so frustrated due to the fact I was going to use them at a granddaughters' birthday party, I just threw them away.
