I've started an eating program that stresses incorporating protein in larger portions, this tool is such a welcomed complement to my kitchen dietary preparations.
Great price. Quality seems very good. This was something my husband always wanted and he was really pleased with his gift. I've purchased other Kaloric appliances and haven't been disappointed yet. I'd definitely recommend!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is very good product. easy to use and clean. Especially if you are Asian, this is very reliable to cut your whole beef or pork.
Bought it on sale and no complaint at this price point. Easy to clean - blade and food holder can be taken apart and hand washed, machine can be wiped down
The machine is working fairly. I think it's better used for slice soft foods, like ham or cheese, but not for frozen meats. Except the blade, all parts are in plastic so they are not that solid and stable. Be careful when you install the blade on the wheel gear since it's a bit delicate.
I bought this meat slicer for one purpose and found it to be useful for other ideas. It's made mostly of plastic and not a "heavy duty" slicer. It doesn't slice through frozen meat but handles cooked or raw meat pretty well. It cuts slower than I expected but gets the job done. The meat has to be cut to fit the holding area so large pieces won't work as well.
Cuts well enough but Guide plate can move with pressure. And i find food builds up at the bottom of the blade creating messy cuts so it must be cleaned and it is not the easiest thing to clean. I also wish it would cut thicker than 1/2"... All in all it is it is a good machine for the price if you dont have one... but i dont think it is top tier quality
got my sink two days and was looking at hone depot and the exact same sink is 5 percent cheaper.
It's hard to hold frozen meat with the plastic given. Using only 5 minutes requires you to stop the machine as it has some smell from the machine
Blade is slow and rips meat more than slices meat, unless you go really slow in which you might as well just use a knife.
