Extremely easy to use, keeps things relatively clean, easy to filter and store. Coming from one of the older round temperature-only fryers this is a dream!
Heats very quickly, digital controls make it ideal to set your frying temperature as some foods require specific heat settings. Relatively easy to clean. The oil filtration system is good just my first time I did not realize the plastic oil reserve complete top is actually a lid and comes off and is just press fit. The first time I had oil in it this lid opened on me and spilled 3/4 of all the oil all over. I have not made that mistake again. I find the oil is heated uniformly so my fried foods are evenly cooked. The oil retains its temperature relatively well during and between batches. The only con I have is the basket and lid, it would be nice if there was a way to have the basket handle hinged up or down when the lid is on when not in use, currently you can unclip or fold the handle only if there is no oil in the fryer.
It works very well. The oil filtration system is wonderful. I had no problems removing the tray and refilling the fryer. Was not flimsy at all. Very happy with this fryer.
This fryer is the first I have ever seen that you can actually drain the grease and it heats up so fast. I also like the fact that the display won't fade away like most
Good fryer, only thing I'm disappointed with is when you're frying the moisture from the steam make the display non visible. And it would be nice if the cord was a little longer.
Pan for cooking too small
The actual cooking basket and area is a lot smaller then I thought it would be. We had a different deep fryer brand previous to purchasing this one and this basket is half the size of the other one we had which I'm not impressed with
I have used deep fryers all my life and I'm 74. Have never ever seen a deep fat fryer that shut itself off and had to reset timer and wait for it to get back up to temperature to put next batch of fries or fish in. will go back to my presto fry daddy plug it in and fry away without ever having to reset anything.
Currently I have utilized the fryer twice and found that it cuts off in the middle of the cooking process. Believe that this fryer is defected and will be returning. Would not recommend if other fryers have the same issue
Good idea for this oil filter .... but it makes a mess ...oil gets everywhere wish i could return it
