I bought this one for my wife and was pleased to see how beautiful it was for the price I payed. Came in excellent packing and I highly recommend buying it!
Although the description says made from hardwood the finish doesn't look like a real wood finish. It looks more like a very good faux finish. It still looks very nice, but if you're expecting a fine piece of wood, it is not. Overall for the price it is an excellent buy.
This was simply one of the BEST purchases i have made and the price simply sealed the deal. Oh, did i mention that shipping was $.97? Tax was more! :) It isn't available site to store. When i picked it up (at FED EX)...i couldn't believe the weight of it. I got it home and opened the first box...there was another box...so i opened it...then ANOTHER box! Inside that 3rd box was styrofoam and finally inside the styrofoam was the box. Heavy, gorgeous, smooth walnut jewelry box. I opened it and looked inside. It had the tassled key...and the inside is just like the picture. i love it...LOVE IT...if you know that is someone's style...buy one for xmas/birthday...whatever...i am sooo pleased with this. When i ordered it...i had no idea what i would get...i can't believe the great price and the way it was packaged was outstanding...TRY IT! You won't be sorry!!! :)
This is a very impressive jewelry box! It came very well packaged - a box within a box (so it was in pristine condition upon arrival). Solid and substantial. I'm amazed that it was so inexpensive. Very much exceeded my expectations on size, quality construction and appearance.
Because this jewelry box was on sale,I never expected it to be so sturdy and so attractive it has ample room for each item, rings, earrings, neck pieces, and braclets. There is a second layer under the first that gives room for larger pieces. It is a great buy for home or to give as a gift.
Even after reading the many reviews of people who said this jewelry box was larger and nicer than they expected, I was still very pleasantly surprised when I received it. It is packed very well for shipping, too. I've shown this jewelry box to a few people, and each one of them commented on how nice it was. They were also very surprised to hear that it only cost 20 dollars! I think the only negative is the dark surface (I got the dark wood). I think a lighter wood color would have been nicer, but that is just my preference.
bought this for my daughter at christmas. she loves it...great design, simple yet stylish. the finish is super for the money. i would highly recommend for anyone wanting a very understated and functional jewelry box. Fantastic purchase!
When I received the jewelry box, I was really impressed with the look the quality and it even had a lock and key. It is wonderful for all types of jewelry such as rings watches bracelets and other items I have. It is realy rich looking in the wood stain. I am very happy to have selected this to have for myself. I liked it so much I ordered one for my daughter to give to her for Christmas. It will make a great gift. I know she will love it.
Very Impressive, nice storage for my jewelry. I think that as a man's jewlery box it works very well, but I'm not sure how it would work for ladies. There is plenty of storage in the bottom for watches and cuff links and on top for some rings, and bracelets. And the quality of the wood and the lining would make it a very nice gift.... I bought it as a gift to myself!
This is a heavy, well made and beautifully lined jewelry box. The only problem is that there is no line of hooks for your necklaces to go on like most jewelry boxes have... so that's not good. Other than that, it's great!
