This little scooter works really well. It is very stable and rolls smooth. About the only drawback is that it does not fold down very flat. You need some room to stow it if you are driving.
Great purchase. Simple to assemble. Braking is super. Simply a great way to get around the house without putting pressure on the bad foot. Very stylish and comfortable! Very pleased with the purchase. Also, a great price!
This product has been such a success for my husband. He has been able to get around much easier than with crutches. I would highly recommend this item.
This knee scooter is really easy to put together. I love the basket when I go to the store. The paint job is pretty cool. It's very comfortable to use. It doesn't turn sharp around corners but I am mostly going to use it outside the house so for me it works great.
This is really working out well for me to get around in my house after having surgery on my ankle and not being able to put any weight on it for a couple of months. Husband had his doubts that this would work out, but after only the first day he's a believer.
Ordered this for my 27 yr old daughter after an accident. Very easy for her to get around and she loves the basket! Very sturdy. Her only con would be that she would like a little thicker padding for her knee. Great product!
With a broken ankle this scooter has been a lifesaver in getting around the house and the office.. I would highlyI recommend this product to anyone with lower extremity disabilities for ease of mobility much better than crutches. The basket is great for transporting necessities to and from different locations at home and elsewhere.
I don't know if any of the other knee walkers are any better, but we spend a lot of time "jumping" the front or back wheels sideways to get around corners and through doorways. We could not use the basket because it would just be banging into the wall and limiting the turning radius even more. The paint job is very snazzy. No problems with the construction. The brake works well. MUCH Better than crutches!!
I purchased this item on July 6th and since my surgery I've been using it for the last 4 weeks. It has a break that is lockable which is great. But only on one wheel locks. This means the other wheel can and does still move when you have the break locked. I was brushing my teeth and it rolled out from under me. Thank God I was leaning on the vanity so I didn't fall. Another time I had my purse in the basket and it tipped frontward and I fell and my surgical foot hit the ground. Praise God I didn't hurt my foot. The mechanism that allows for 'folding' is awkward at best. After having to use it several times recently I can not get it tightened back up so that the handle bars don't wiggle. The bottom of the basket attachment is in the way. Since it is not movable there is no work around. It has a very narrow turn radius. So if your home has narrow rooms you'll find yourself having to go backwards to get out of the room. That is unless you sit down, pick it up, and turn it around by hand. The basket is very handy. But a great improvement would be a cup holder. I purchased one that was for a stroller that works great. Having said all of that it is great for being out of the house. It is easy to maneuver in a doctors office as well as in the stores I've been in. 11 years ago when I had another such surgery I used what is now called a Rollator . it was more difficult to use out of the house due to having one knee on it made it go the direction of the missing foot (in my case to the left). But it is easier to use in the house because they all have locks on both back wheels. The Rollator is much easier to get in and out of the car because of how it folds up over the awkwardness of the knee walker. And the Rollator has a easy 360 turn radius.
Received the walker in a box for easy assembly. There were no written instructions but the assembly was no complicated. I noticed that the parts that were already assembled were put together maligned. The handle bar did not sit straight with the front wheels causing the walker to drift to one side. In order to fix this would have required a wrench that I did not have. This was rather annoying.
