The big wheels enable you to get over more bumps and makes for a smoother ride for the passenger than ones with the little wheels. AND it's still super lightweight, very comparable to the one with smaller wheels. Highly recommend since, if you don't like it, you can return it at a Walmart store location. Do NOT go with anything from Drive Medical. They are a third party seller (and they even have another company handle the shipping of the product), so returning the item was an absolute nightmare, customer service was terrible (he said, she said situation) and they didn't follow up either time like they said they would. Also, they didn't consider a very loud and constant clicking noise as a defect so we had to pay for restocking fees. And it was clicking on two of them, so we didn't try a third. Hope this helps!
It was quick and easy to place the order. Packaging was perfect. Unpacking and set up was very easy. I am very pleased with this purchase. .
The light weight of this wheel chair makes it much easier to move in and out of the truck of the car, while remaining sturdy enough to perform well.
My sister got this wheelchair for me. I am really disappointed because this wheelchair is a bit wider than The regular wheelchair from drive. They should've made it a bit thinner. It can't fit through the bathroom door. The bearings on this chair is very nice, and it rolls without any drag. They should also have made it easier to fold up. It's not so easy to fold this wheelchair.
I am 69 years old and my husband has to use a wheelchair and this chair is light for getting in and out of the car. Have had for almost a year now and the arms seem to be bending and wearing out. Will be calling the company to see if they sell replacement parts
I am not totally sure about this chair yet...it wheels well but the wheel lock handles have ridges on them and it is cutting up my palms...I had to put something on them...and they are very hard to lock...still not sure if I will keep this chair...it is too bad...just a bad area...
the wheelchair was his light and easy to fold up as they said but part of the break assembly broke and an arm rest broke third time putting it in the trunk cannot find a replacement for the brake or the armrest
