I was looking for a pair of suitable sneakers for breakdancing footwork and heard great stories about the Puma Suede Classics. So I order these 1/2 shoe size larger than my usual in red/black/yellow with the free shipping offer. They arrived on the 5th business day (ordered Sunday, processed & shipped Monday, delivered Friday afternoon). Each sneaker had 2 laces (flat black and fat grey) which was nice, but I wanted to accessorize with something more colorful and went out to buy Puma's "fluro orange" flat laces at a nearby Puma store. The fit is super comfortable all around, though my feet are a little wider at the toes so the somewhat narrow toebox can inhibit your toes from completely spreading. No big deal. The rubber tongue is flexible and wide so the Suedes are loose on the top of the foot (which is excellent. Shoes that are too tight can cause top of the foot pain called extensor tendonitis and that is bad to have). So far these sneakers have been comfortable to dance in and do footwork, allowing me to practice hours at a time with no pain or injury. However BREAK THEM IN WITH COMFORTABLE SOCKS FIRST. I made the mistake of immediately going for a long walk in low-cut socks and my heels got rubbed pretty badly. Just make sure to wear socks that are long enough to cover and protect your heels until you break these in. In summary: You can't go wrong with suede sneakers. Excellent fit. Affordable. Good shipping time. Tips: Wear comfortable socks until they're broken in. Accessorize it your style with colorful laces! Like all shoes, take good care of them and they will take good care of you! I will definitely buy more of these Suede Classics in other color combinations. They're very fun and stylish almost anywhere I go.
Love these sneakers. I purchased two different colors. They work perfectly as relax dress and add a stylish/cool touch even if you are dressed up. I wear them with Jeans, shirt and jacket and give a touch of color to the outfit. Very confortable.
My son loves these shoes for skateboarding. He loves the bright blue color of this pair. He wears size 6.5 mens and many stores that carry it start at size 7 mens so happy we can get online!
I own 4 pairs and use them at the gym as well as everyday wear shorts and jeans and different colors just enhances your look.
What can I say about these? They are pretty much the perfect shoe. I have 4 pairs of these shoes and they can pretty much go with anything. I have an all black pair that I wear for formal occasions! (I don't think they make them anymore, but they should, because they are SICK). The suede is soft and comfortable. They look cool as a mofo. They come in rad colors. And they're not overly expensive. The only drawback is that the suede is REALLY hard to care for. You have to be pretty good about taking care of them. You need to get suede protectant and a good cleaning kit for sure of you don't want then to end up looking ratty. I learned this the hard way. I dunno what else to say, but these kicks are number one in my book. Everyone should own a pair.
I've always wanted a pair of Puma's. Growing up as a military brat being one of four children, I couldn't afford to buy a pair of Puma's. I was happy to see that you still carried the classic blue and white suede. They fit great, feel great and look great. I will be asking people who own the classic suede Puma's (regardless of the color) to post a picture of them rocking their Puma's with pride.
I love the sneakers! But I wish the color wasn't photoshopped from another color on the website. When I got the shoes I noticed the sole and laces were a different color then the suede body of the sneaker and in the website picture they were the same... I would have still bought them I just wish it was a truthful image of the product.
Great looking shoes but the dye in the suede bleeds into the white walls. It's unfortunate
Great shoe. Fit right. Very comfortable. But I ordered the black suede with the WHITE stripe and got black with an "off" white or "ivory" stripe. I thought it was a defect, but customer service said it was the correct color and that if I look at the website pic I could see the difference. I used the zoom feature and except or a texture difference the stripe in the pic looked like the same color as the sole of the shoe. But when I looked at the shoe I was holding, the sole was that nice, bright white but the stripe was nowhere near it. It made the shoe look ridiculous. Bright white sole. Off white stripe. So I sent them back. Other than the color issue, no issues with the shoe. Just very disappointed in the color. I thought it was a misrepresentation. And I remember wearing these when I was a kid (some 40 years ago) and the stripe was WHITE.
I initially returned the first pair that has arrived in my delivery address because it was a total mess. There were discolorations all over the outer layer of the shoe. They sent me a replacement and it was even worst!
