We don't have central AC, just 2 window units. We had to buy a 3rd unit because of the heat wave. Our house is pretty big, two window units aren't in ideal spots because some of the windows are broken so we had to install them in any window that would work. I decided to give this portable AC a shot. I put it in my living room, it was easy to install it using any window, even a broken one. Finally my living room is cool! I like the dehumidifier feature, it helps A LOT during these horrible heat waves. I have tried it out in my bedroom too, the bedtime feature that increases temp as the night goes on is great. I'm thinking about getting rid of all window units and just having 1 of these upstairs & 1 downstairs.
This Keystone 115V Portable Air Conditioner is a welcome addition to our home. This is a nice sized fan/air conditioner which is not hard on the eyes. After a day of running errands and starting to melt in the extra warm heat of the day I was able to QUICKLY get this item together right out of the box and have it running. Even my pets gathered around to enjoy the relief. I was very impressed with the power of the airflow just on the fan setting! There is also a air conditioner setting which I have not tried yet until I decide which room will give this a permanent home.
