My son is obsessed with this toy! It seems sturdy (though not quite as high quality as some other brands), but it has held up to his play time. The dinosaur lights up and makes sounds which is fun. It does have some small pieces/weapons, so this is more for an older child (not toddler). I would recommend it!
I think that this is a great little playset. Walmart's Kid Connection toys have been awesome for my family through the years! My son is having such a fun time with this dinosaur play set! Sometimes the most fun comes from toys that are just simple. The set comes with a vehicle, solider, dinosaur, and 11 small accessories. The dinosaur makes a roaring noise and lights up when you pull on its arm. Great fun, can't beat the price!
Our son has liked playing with the Dino set. The man has the accessories which are really fun for him to switch out. He likes chasing the dinosaur and capturing it. This set is fun bc it has the truck, the man, the Dino, and his accessories like flash light and sword.
We have a birthday coming up for our youngest who happens to love dinosaurs. (A trip to the Museum at the Black Hills Institute in South Dakota this past summer helped further a love of dinosaurs.) Our youngest also likes some toys that light up and make noise, this is then, a great gift. All our kids like dinosaurs and are pretty good at sharing, so we know this will be a fun addition for playtime. Pros: *This set has dinosaurs AND a vehicle--multiple ways to have fun. *This set's dinosaur's mouth lights up and makes sounds (see the difference between the two pictures). *This set has fun colors. Cons: *This set does have small parts, so kids need to be old enough not to eat the parts or put the parts in their nostrils/ears. I recommend this box of dinosaur fun!
If you are like me and you have a kiddo who is obsessed with dinosaurs, this is the perfect toy kit for them. It definitely suggests a lot of imaginative play and several different situations that can play out with this set. My 4 year old has a very big imagination and loves everything dinosaur. He has told me many stories with this play set alone which is great for cognitive development. The little accessories that come with this set really complete the stories. This is a good quality toy set and it's sure to keep your dinosaur lover interested and occupied. I definitely recommend it. My son's favorite part is that the dinosaur lights up when you move it's arm.
My son was very excited to receive this set in the mail. I like this brand of toys because they make great, inexpensive gifts for birthday parties but they're decent quality. My son enjoys playing with this set. Just a note, the dinosaur does, unfortunately, make noise. He loves it.
Its pretty easy to make my three year old happy. He LOVES dinosaurs and was elated to be given the chance to play with the Kid Connection Dinosaur Play Set. He immediately gave the guy a name, put all the gear in the truck, and went Dino hunting!!! Its light plastic, so easy to maneuver. The fact that the Dino roars and it mouth lights up as well was just mind blowing! Again, my son was so enamored... he fell asleep next to the toy set. I'd say this was a five star present!
My 2 sons, ages 7 and 4, have really enjoyed this play set. The dinosaur has lights and sounds which they really enjoy. The truck has several accessories which they also like. The set is complete with a man, dinosaur, truck, and accessories. There are many different elements to this play set which keeps my son's engaged for hours. They are really happy with this play set and I would recommend it to others.
I received the Kid Connection Dinosaur Play Set, 14 Pieces. Cute set but it doesn't last long. The plastic truck tires stopped rolling, and the dinosaurs arm broke off after my kids played with the set on the first day. I did not use any of the plastic pieces that came with it. The dinosaur made a noise and lit up before the arm was broke off.
The Kid Connection Dinosaur Play Set, 14 Pieces unfortunately did not meet our expectations. The action figure and the dinosaur don't fit into the vehicle. The many accessory pieces are super easy to lose, and a lot don't stay attached to the figure. The dinosaur tail also broke within a day without heavy play.
