bought this to replace the 10 year old one i already had that woould not stop beeping because it was expired ( 10 yrs were up)
This is a very good product. Quality control appears to be excellent. The only improvement I would suggest s to make the green operating light a little larger/brighter. Although this might be my eyesight.
This carbon monoxide alarm, is well made, easily mounted, and easy to change batteries. It is a small and nice looking unit, for a very reasonable price.
this fire alarm i needed to replace my old one so i found the same one and it works perfect easy to attach to the wall all the pieces come with the alarm.overall great carbon monoxide and fire alarm !
We were looking for an inexpensive CO monitor and this product fit the bill. Kidde is a name I associate with quality. So far it exceeds my expectations for price/quality.
Working as intended
Nice basic carbon monoxide detector,,easy install,less false alarms than the ones with a digital readout
Easy setup . But I ordered 3 and only got 2 .
My daughter's new apartment complex required a Carbon Monoxide Detector, so I shopped around and found this Kidde model. It's well made and easy to use. Haven't been able to test it (fortunately), but Kidde is s respected brand name so I feel confident it will do the job when needed.
Pros: Nice product that looks good wherever it is placed inside the house (please follow manufacturer's guidelines for placement locations). The supplied three AA batteries were easy yo install. Test button worked fine. Cons: None at this time. Other thoughts: This model does not have a digital display of the CO level; I knew this at the time of order placement. Since then I have purchased an additional Kidde CO sensor that does have a digital display and also three AA batteries. This sits on a desk in the bedroom and the display is quite reassuring. None of the models available have any type of calibration and as a result it is difficult to tell whether the level is really zero when it displays zero level.
