great product for the money...I havent had to wash it yet...but I called Kiddopotamus to ask about this, they were great on the phone and said to wash cold...They said the retail for it is actually double than what I paid for thru walmart online, and it's double to BabiesRUs. It's not a thick cover like the plush ones anywhere else, but it's also not 50 bucks, so a money saver and still does the job, I love how it zips up and exposes her face, I wish though it had a flap to cover her face if I wanted to, but I found one online that had the zipper flap, and again it was lots more money...so not really worth it to me...I just leave it on my carrier and if it's warm outside I just dont cover her with a blanket...no reason, but this way I don't have to cover the carrier with a blanket and have the blanket get dirty with wind, rain, snow, or whatever...Great product, great on the pocket book.

Everyone always stops me and aks me were I got mine! This is the easiest and most practicle baby gift on the market! If the weather is cool in the morning and warms up in the afternoon this comes right off with no hassle of re-doing or undoing the harness straps! Excellent buy for your dollar! A must have for any parent whether it's your 1st child or your 3rd!

I live in the suburbs of Chicago and the winters here are extreamely harsh. When we found out our baby was due in December, we were worried about the cold. We didn't need to be. I found this while searching on-line for other things, and I absolutly love it. We don't even need to bundle up our son. We've been using it for little under a month and are very happy with the quality and price of the CozyUp. This product is HIGHLY recommended to anyone with an infant in cold winters.

Fits the car seat snugly and securely. I won't have to worry about this one falling off or bunching up. Easy to clean - just throw in the washing machine with baby blankets and such and then hang on the line or back of a chair to dry. It dries quickly too - that fleece and nylon doesn't hold in a bunch of water. Easy to use and performs as described!

The area I live in got 4 ft of snow I decided I needed something to cover the entire carseat when my 6 month old kept kicking his shoes and socks off and his little feet would stick outside the blanket we would cover him with. I looked at the covers that go under the baby and then the top zips on, but that seemed such a pain and also compromises the integrity of the carseat. Also they were expensive. The kiddopotomus is the perfect solution!!! Just stretch it over the top and keeps my son perfectly warm and keeps the blanket on top of him and not falling on the floor anymore due to kicking!! Definately would reccomend this to anyone!!!

Better than a blanket

I bought this for my son's car seat and picked it up using site-to-store. The cover is nice but I feel the fabric could have been thicker. It covers the car seat quite nicely and there is room for the child's head so he can breath easily. I only wish it was made of a heavier fabric since we live in Chicago and I don't think I can use this as a cover for an outdoor walk during winter. But it is much better than using a blanket like we have until now. I would recommend this product.

We purchased this product for our newborn son. We use it every time that we take him out. It stays on both of his different car seats and it keeps the wind and elements off of him. We still cover the entire car seat with another blanket and it would be nice if this one came with a flap cover. Other than that it is a very affordable and usable car seat cover.

While I would've liked to have seen a flap to cover the head opening for severely cold weather, the carrier cover was probably one of the best ideas ever invented and saves me from having to bundle him up to the point he gets overheated. The zipper makes getting him in and out very easy, so you don't have to keep taking the whole thing off, and you'd be surprised how useful that little pocket is! (keeps mittens and a pacifier from disappearing into the depths of the seat.) And with the single-digit weather we had this week, keeping the lil' one warm was incredibly easy.

For $15 bucks it's pretty cool. I thought of making one, but figured it would cost just as much or more than this one. It has a zipper and is reversible, but it isn't very thick. The "collar" isn't quite what I had pictured, but I think it will still be ok. My only concern is that there are two THIN layers, one is nylon, the other is fleece. I'm worried that with the winters we have here in the Northeast that it won't be warm enough. The other thing is that on the infant seat the part that latches into thebase is covered and might be cumbersome to remove in order to snap the seat into the base.
