I just put this together a few days ago it was easy to follow the directions. It is a sturdy bench and the drawers are pretty solid not flimsy particle board like I had possibly thought. So far so good for its intended use as a shoe cubby for 3 young kids and an area to toss backpacks. It's a bit smaller than I had imagined but cute and useful.
We bought this storage for keeping some toys on hand for our grandchildren when they visit. This bench was a little bit smaller than I wanted, but it's a great kid-sized toy bench. I liked that the pieces were marked, the pre-drilled holes, and the easy-to-understand instructions. The grandchildren haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure they'll like it.
It's a great little toy bench for my kids. The bins are sturdy and a bit heavy but they are holding up well so far. When I opened the box to start assembling, the top had splintered. KidKraft support is EXCELLENT. I just went to their website, entered the info of the missing part along with a photo of the damage, and a new top piece arrived at my house within 3 days free of charge.
We needed storage and seating in our toy room so I bought 2 of these. My husband put them together quickly with his drill. I am going to make a no sew cushion for each one, but we've already been using them to sit on and they are very sturdy. My kids like to use them as a Lego table and it's easy for them to clean up after play. Happy with my purchase!
I have 3 little girls, lots of barbie dolls, stuffed animals and miscellaneous McDonalds toys. I like the type of storage I can "close the door" and not see the mess. I considered a toy chest but the thought of them pulling out every toy to get to the one on the bottom wasn't very appealing. I've had this for 2 years now and reallly like it. I would say love it, but it shows wear and tear on the top and edges (paint scratched off). For the price, who cares. I bet if I bought a more expensive chest it would do the same. I'm just saying, for those of you that it might bother I'm just putting that out there. The drawers can fit barbies and all the random pieces but I bought some small ottoman storage bins for the stuffed animals (way too many to fit in this). And for the really small pieces (you know, doll shoes and all the other pieces that cause choking hazard warning labels to be put on toys) I bought small office organizer boxes to set on top of the toybox because they would be lost in these big drawers. OVerall GREAT purchase. Highly recommend and as always, Walmart has the best price and service
I bought two of these benches to use as storage and play space (on the top). They are sturdy and nicely finished. The finish looks durable. The bins are large and easy to remove. If you fill them completely, they would be too heavy for a child. Great stuffed animal storage.
This was pretty easy to assemble, and it creates a lot of space for how small it is. I did receive the wrong color, but wasn't bothered enough to return it. A small concern is that the bins pull all the way out, so they can smash tiny feet, but my 2yo figured that out quickly and it's helpful to be able to take one bin into another room when needed.
This product is ok, but a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The drawers are very small, and the bench is really small. It took a long time to put together. The look is nice and the quality is nice, but just too small for much of anything.
This works fine as a storage unit, however, the dimensions are incorrect. It is shorter than 17 inches which makes it too small to use for a kitchen table bench.
The drawers are very heavy and difficult to pull in and out. The top is already sagging.
