I just purchased this bookshelf for my 2 and 4 year old children. I've been reading reviews on this (and other similar ones# for about a month now, trying to decide which one to get. Like others have said, I was somewhat hesitant to get this, due to the size. I've read reviews saying how it doesn't hold many books- especially board books. My kids LOVE books, so I was worried it would be a waste to even bother getting it- since it's so small. However, after getting it and loading my kids books in it, I'm VERY pleased with the amount of books it holds. I have ours FILLED with board books- currently it's holding 24 books...board books at that. If you were to put paper books in it, it would hold TONS. It was PERFECT for my kids "favorites." I ended up putting some of the HUGE books off to the side, so they didn't take up a bunch of space on the shelves, but it works out just fine! I'm including a picture to show how ours turned out. The kids are soo excited to have a shelf where they can easily access their books #and easily put them back#. To top it off, it definitely seems like a good quality piece to last a long time! I would definitely recommend this product- it does exactly what I bought it for! :)
I bought this bookshelf about a month ago and so far it has been nice. It's sturdy and holds quite a few books. I love the canvas material. We have another book sling that has a material that makes a gross scratchy noise when books are placed in it. So it's a nice change .. Pretty colors !
Our 2-year old granddaughter loves books, and we wanted to get her something that would easily display all her books, so she could reach them easily on her own. This bookshelf serves that purpose very well. I highly recommend it as a starter bookshelf for little ones.
As a tired mom, this was very easy to put together. It's the perfect size for the kids to run over and safely pull all the books out of. We love it!
This bookshelf is the right size for little ones, the design makes it easy for them to put the books back and looks good overall. It was easy to assemble.
This book sling is perfect for my toddler. The books are easy to get in and out. The sling is very light and has smooth corners. That is very useful with a child who likes to climb or is unsteady. It was very easy to assemblecas well and even though ut us light, it is sterdy. I am incredibly happy with it. I looked everywhere for one and couldn't find one...I never thought to look at Walmart. I had it delivered to my door by shopping online.
Cute, space-saver, and very easy to assemble. Also useful in teaching my toddler how to put things back where they belong -- perfect size so she can do it all on her own. I noticed the picture on Hayneedle is a different version than the one I received. However, I am still satisfied with my purchase.

it is beautiful.. however I must agree with some of the reviews.. it was very hard for me to put the screws in the holes. The holes in the wooden bars were not big enough to fit the screws. I struggled with it much longer than I should have. Screwdriver did not do the job. I will have to buy a power drill to finish the job properly. Assembly should have been easier with less hassle. Other than that it is the perfect size for my 2 year old! (Attaching a photo in which you can see the screws sticking out on the sides still.)
Arrived with an issue with the fabric. It is okay quality for the price, not great but okay.
