Around here we have used KILZ products for more years than I can remember. Currently my father and myself are working on the exterior of the apartment building that he owns. I am using KILZ for covering the upper trim around the roof area. We have also been siding and KILZ works great as a first base coat. Great product. Thanks!
I have recently used Kilz General Exterior paint and, I must say, I will never get another exterior paint again! It was so easy to use. It went on smooth, dried super fast, and looks FANTASTIC! I have used a lot of exterior paints on my wooden porch (which is porous) before that had the habit of "bubbling". Whenever it would hit the surface I was painting, I had to pop a ton of air bubbles, with Kilz I didn't have to! Also, a lot of the others took ALL DAY to dry, Kilz doesn't. I am making Kilz my "go to" paint for outside! My porch is now the talk of the trailer park! Thank you Kilz
I really glad I found Kilts General Purpose Extierior Primer. This produce did a wonderful job covering the area I needed to prepare to paint. It made it easier to apply the paint and the finished job looked great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I used this primer on my chicken coop and the barn quilt square I painted to decorate it (untreated wood). One coat, easy as pie.. Holding up really well.. especially in all the wet weather we've had on the east coast this winter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We had old 12" wide masonite siding that need repaired in portions. All we could find for this width was pine boards. Pine isn't the optimal choice for the exterior....so I definitely wanted it primed well! Kilz went on so easy, covered some of the knot holes and allowed the paint to go on so nicely! ....even my husband could do it :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I recently painted our chicken coop. I started with the outdoor use Kilz. It provided a nice clean white surface and sealed the wood. It covered all the old stains on the coops outer surface, even a particularly oily one. My very old coop looks like a new one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this as a primer/sealer on all my projects. Can't beat the performance and overall quality of this product. I've been painting for 30+ yrs. and KILZ Primer/Sealer is the only primer/sealer I have ever used. Never let's me down!
Kilz Gen l Purpose Exterior Primer is great to use on outdoor furniture. It brightens all of our wood products up after a hard winter. It is easy to apply, easy to cleanup (except on my clothes which my wife hates); I get many compliments from family members & neighbors on how well it looks.......I tell them you cant beat Kilz paint products.
I recently used Kilz Primer to prime the aluminum siding on my house before painting. It went on extremely smoothly. It was SO easy to paint over. I would definitely use it the next time I am in the need for an exterior primer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Use to seal 20 year old deck siding. Did a great job on the wood but rusted nail stains bled thought in about three months. Kill is still the best product out there for what I was attempting, should have prepped the nail heads better [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
