ADVANCED FORMULA: This splatter-resistant formula rolls on easily with low odor making it a great choice for any room. This color changing, stainblocking paint offers excellent coverage for water stains, color changes and to brighten drab ceilings. This ceiling paint rolls on with a subtle pink color that dries to white in under an hour. APPLICATION: For use on all interior ceilings. Apply with a quality nylon/polyester brush or a 3/8"-1/2" nap roller depending on surface texture. Can also be applied with a sprayer. Multiple coats may be required for complete hide. SUPERIOR COVERAGE: This 1 Gallon can of KILZ Color-Change Stainblocking Interior Ceiling Paint covers approximately 250 square feet per gallon on porous surfaces and up to 400 square feet per gallon on smooth, non-porous surfaces. Dries to touch in 1 hour. Recoat as needed after 2 hours, for maximum stainblocking, recoat after 4 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fixed my old tabacco stained bathroom ceiling making it so fresh and new! Previous owner smoked in the bathroom daily and tar was oozing out if the ceiling. The stench was disgusting. The room has no awful ofor or brown stains now!!
This ceiling paint not only helped me get rid of water stains in my ceiling, it looks really good! The color change feature is excellent to keep track of where is being applied. I didn't even need a drop cloth, the spatter is non-existent. Great Product!

Built in 70s needing a lot of work I have basically redone the hole house . I still have a few big projects left. One that I had to buy Kilz for was my basement ceilings tiles. The basement has a wood burner that they obviously did not know how to use because they were all brown from smoke. I took all the tiles down and out side to paint . My big mistake was painting them with regular white ceiling paint. The brown and water stains all came back. I redone them with Kilz and it worked out great , wish I would've used it the first time. I straighten the grid out hung new lights and it looks great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted a basement open ceiling twice with a good white paint. Both times, the regular white paint bled through. We were trying to create a room so our teens could call it their own to enjoy with their friends. I then tried Kilz, with it's claim of covering stains. Kilz worked like a charm for the 3rd painting and has not bleed though stains. Nice and bright white where our old sistern was located. Years later the room is still nice and I owe it all to Kilz.
