(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) There are coffeemakers and then there is the KitchenAid Coffeemaker! Its iconic styling compliments the fact that it's wonderful to use, solidly made and brews rich delicious hot coffee. It's the best maker I've ever used.
Brews coffee fast, nice looking, quality parts, very happy with purchase. Only downside is you can't turn on hot plate alone without brewing - at least that I can figure out.
What I love most about this coffee maker is the water fill feature. Fill the pitcher with water and set it back on the base. I no longer need to pour water into the water reservoir. Also, the pour spout on the carafe is basically spill-proof, like what you see in a diner. Our previous carafe did not have a great pour spout and I frequently spilled when the carafe was full. I like the drip stop feature also which allows me to grab the coffee prior to completion of the brew cycle. I also like the built-in measurement levels inside the gold filter basket, takes the guesswork out and I no longer need a specific spoon to measure the coffee grounds. Most of my friends own a Keurig. I like Keurig, but I really need more than a cup at a time, I appreciate the 12 cup quantity since my husband and I use bigger cups than average. Plus, with Keurig pods, there's only so much coffee grounds in the pod and I'd need a double sized pod to satisfy the strength in my cup, which is not an option. With that, the Kitchenaid keeps my coffee very hot and it brews a perfectly flavored pot every time. Some other nice features included is the 2 hour auto shut off, a clock which makes the unit programmable. The unit is narrower than my previous unit but it is also wider - Surprisingly it also has a brew start button on both the side AND the front alleviating the need for me to push/pull it away from under the cabinet to set up or brew. This is a great unit and I was contemplating between this or a Black
this makes great coffee! i love the simplicity of the options. it stays warm 2hrs after brewing and shows a countdown timer. easy to fill, program, brew %26 clean!
We recently got this coffee maker. Rich coffee! Biggest pro is ease of cleaning! Never had a coffee maker with such easy cleaning ability!!! Great!
I received a different brand coffee maker for Christmas and my husband hated it. He loves how simple this one is to use. I love how easy it is to fill. Makes great coffee that doesn't take a long time to brew. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a Christmas gift. Before I received this gift would go to the local coffee shop to get coffee. I love this coffee maker it is wonderful and it is great to wake up and my coffee is ready. It is simple to use, and the coffee tastes great every time. My only regret is that I wish I had got this coffee maker sooner.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Makes excellent coffee! Only downfalll, does not have ‘Keep warm' button for after the 2 hour window.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my coffee maker it makes great coffee, love the sound when coffee is ready and auto shut off incase I forget to turn off myself. The design of my new coffee maker is bad in many ways, just my opinion. This is my third KitchenAid coffee maker. My top reason for getting this brand and sticking with it is the removable water reservoir. So nice to be able to clean when removed. I'm including pictures comparing my old model to my new model ,new model on the right.. I don't like the removable lid on the reservoir my old one was hinged and connected to the coffee maker. . The size is too big. I prefer the clock on the front of the machine. Don't like the handle on the reservoir. And last the look of it with the big KitchenAid on the front along with the shape reminds me of my stand mixer. If it weren't for the changes I would give it 5 stars. I loved my old one so much more would give it 5 stars plus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the physical features, i.e., portable reservoir, sideway storage option, and general look. However, after the two-hour heating time, the coffee maker shuts off and will not turn back on, unless one brews another carafe of coffee. If you are looking for a coffee maker that can be turned on, after it turns off, look for another product.
