[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this KitchenAid wall oven last month to replace our KitchenAid wall oven that lasted us almost 20 years!! Since we loved the functions of that oven and the longevity, we didn't hesitate to buy the same type of model, only updated. So far, our wall oven has exceeded our expectations! It's easy to use and cooks and bakes all of our foot wonderfully. Highly recommend our KitchenAid wall oven!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 30" Combo Wall Oven and Microwave in January after the first one I had installed was defective. I love this oven. It is roomy and also attractive. I bake bread and cook a lot so need a nice size oven. I would not hesitate to purchase this combination oven/micowave, you will love it.
We couldn't be more happy with this oven. My husband did a lot of research before purchasing and this one had great reviews. So we took a chance and are glad we did. Great look with the industrial style handles and very quiet when on. I also have family who works for Kitchenaid so this was an easy decision for us.
I bought this wall oven for all the amazing features. During our remodeling of the kitchen we moved the microwave in order to have a over the stove top hood. This created the need for a wall over that offered the combination of a microwave / oven wall oven. I wanted the wall duel oven features. This was the perfect solution this oven does it all and looks great in our new kitchen. The blue interior on the oven is very classy. The crisper feature works great, make cooking fun!!
Bought this when we bought our new home and this is the oven the builder chose. Great looking oven & microwave. Love love love the microwave...easy to use, easy to clean, and love how it can be used in multiple ways...oven & microwave all in one. The oven is awesome. I LOVE everything about the oven. Perfect size, easy to clean, the racks are great...pull out with such ease. This is just a GREAT oven combo. Glad we got it!!!!
We installed this combo unit in our newly built house and have been using for 2 months. My wife definitely wanted two ovens for those large family gatherings nad have not been disappointed with this unit. It is her go-to oven due to its ease of use and even cooking. She feels the same way about the microwave - with it many heating options. Very pleased!
Love this combo appliance! First off it looks stunning the handles-love, the blue interior in the lower oven sold it! I haven't used too oven as convection yet so I can't comment on that but microwave and lower oven work like a charm. Only thing lower oven is missing is a lower heat element it's hard to get my pizza crispy.
Removed old Dacor cooktop, had new granite installed then installed cooktop. Was very easy to install. I like the grease trap and filter, very simple and accessible from top. Looks good and heats up instantaneously. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are not happy with the microwave at all. It doesn't have enough power to pop popcorn which we ate quite a bit no matter how long you you set the timer do you end up with a half a bag of unpopped popcorn? We are very unhappy because this cost, a lot of money and a simple, cheap microwave will pop popcorn the power of the microwave is so low that it takes longer to do everything we are very unhappy. Do not like it at all. Why did they have to cut the power down so low that it takes longer to do everything . Specifications on microwaves were too tight contractor made opening and cabinet to specifications. Screw heads on microwave will not allow microwave. Just sat all the way back in. Had to be modified extra cost for us. A lot of things were not thought about an engineered poor engineering.
I bought this 3.5 yrs ago when we remodeled our kitchen. Love the look! It's beautiful. I would not buy it again, though. Here's a rundown of the pros and cons. Pros: The microwave works great as a microwave and separate oven. The steam function is spot on and the soften/melt function works well. I use it as an oven whenever I can. The oven works great and heats and cools quickly. As for the lower oven, the temp probe works well and the other features are fairly standard, you can find them on most ovens. Overall, the oven works fine. Note the proofing function runs at 100° which is too warm for me. The cons: The microwave fan runs while the microwave is running AND after it stops until you open the door!! So if you leave the room and come back you don't know if it's done or not and it's just annoying. If you use it as an oven don't expect to use the microwave until after it cools down. It could take 5 min or up to 20 min depending. And, when using it as an oven, when it's done preheating it beeps and prompts you to insert the food. After you insert the food you still have to press start. So if you put food in while it's preheating, you still have to open the door and press start when it's done preheating! If you're good and wait until it preheats you have to remember to press start after you put your food in. The display prompts you but it took a long time to get used to it. Why doesn't it just keep working when you shut the door? And, if you check on the food, yes, you guessed it, remember to press start again! Also, there is no light. The lower oven, where do I start? It takes forever to preheat unless the function has a rapid preheat option but I think that's only on the convect functions. It's not an option on the bake function. The fan runs continuously which is annoying. And when you're done using the oven the fan continues to run to cool down the oven. Yesterday it took 1.5 hours before the fan shut off!!! I try not to use the lower oven when we have company because our table is at the end of the kitchen and all you hear is the fan running the whole time you're eating. I HATE that part of this unit. The controls only work using your bare finger or knuckle. Oven mitts don't cut it! The last con I can think of is that there is no volume control. It's either silent of regular. Sometimes I'd like it louder and other times, softer. Not a big deal but all the little things add up. In summary, it looks wonderful and works good but I would not recommend this unit nor would I buy it again. Whomever designed this didn't use it in their own kitchen or test it while trying to envision it being used in real life situations. It looks great and is functional, that's it. Don't buy it, keep searching and ask lots of questions!
