[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beautiful glass cooktop is sleek and blends well with my newly renovated modern kitchen!
I'm redoing my kitchen and I had an electric stove top and I was looking for something pretty and simple and I found this large 5 burner is so pretty and works great!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I built a new house and picked all KitchenAid appliances. I read a lot of reviews on a variety of appliances but selected this line. I didn't go wrong. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It offer a wide range of element sizes including a super large triple burner all the way down to a simmer burner. Great looking metal knobs. There is a ring around the knobs on the glass to prevent crumbs from falling into the electrical area inside the cooktop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the KitchenAid, because it was 1 of a very few with 5 elements, with 1 of the elements able to handle a large stockpot and wide dutch oven pan. Those looking for similar features will be pleased. Just note that this cooktop will require a cabinet that fits a 36" top or just under 35" (~34 11/16 cooktop under unit) and 50 amp circuit breaker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am for the most part quite happy with our Kitchen Aid 36" stove top. My only complaints are that the heating elements are not easy to determine where they are until you turn them on and see the red of the burner. The placement of the center element is awkward and again hard to find unless I turn it on first. Last, and this seems to be universal with black stovetops ... it is almost impossible to clean. Just an aside: Our last stovetop (a Whirlpool) only lasted three years before we started having problems with the elements and had to replace it. We are hoping that the Kitchen Aid will have a longer life span. Contact me in three years and if it is still working I'll give you a 5 star rating
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the cooktop but when I clean it with cooktop cleaner or soap & water I can't get the streaks out of the cooktop. This is very frustrating for me. HELP What do I use to have a streak less cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes a long time to boil pan of water compared to previous KitchenAid cooktops we have owned. My wife says it is haws to keep clean. Cooktop look like it has Smudges on most of the time Even though we clean it with the Correct type of cleaner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had KitchenAid appliances for many decades. I previously used electric cooktops with no difficulty. But this one is a great disappointment as I can not see the burner outlines until they are heating up and "glowing" which makes pan placement challenging. In addition, the glossy black glass is horrible to keep clean. I wipe, use the KitchenAid cleaner and a microfiber cloth and yet smudges and streaks appear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the first cooktop came with far right knob tilted. So was the second one.
