I had become known for burning everything from cookies to turkey...and I kept saying it was the oven. Well guess what, I was right!!!!! This new range is awesome, everything I have prepared in the last 6 weeks has been perfectly cooked! The first turkey was so moist and perfectly cooked, can't believe the difference. Should have done this a long time ago. My dad always said kitchenaid products were the best, should have listened!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The double oven and fifth burner are so convenient and the unit is one of the eye pieces of the newly remodeled kitchen. We selected an entire suite of Kitchen Aid appliances and they make the kitchen look so elegant.
Too Soon to tell so far so good, had a Kitchen Aid dishwasher 10 years back and got good service from to decided to try the double oven and microwave hood to replace my 12 year old Maytag that worked perfect but was electric, just converted to gas last week [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love my KitchenAid mixer. I bake all the time. We bought a new home recentky, and decided to go all KitchenAid with appliences. As the old ones needed replacing at the home. I have not had it long, but have made bread, and cookies ... Both turned out great ! It looks very pretty as well . I love the handles, they match the dishwasher . The top of the range could be slightly larger for cooking pans space . But, overall so far , I am pleased . I am thrilled to have dual baking ovens! I bought this one month ago and it bakes beautiful and evenly with convection. I was able to host Thanksgiving easily baking, reheating and hot holding. I chose white and it cleans up beautifully over stainless steel look that doesn't always look great with grease or fingerprints. Made cookies and party mix two days before making triple batch and finished in same time as one batch. Love the way the cookies bake evenly and are soft. Thought about LG but this is a better convection and brand name. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
**I don't normally give an item 5 stars until the "honeymoon phase" is over, but this range meets almost all my criteria and I've put it through its paces since installation.** We had a range for 17 years and after quite a few years of dealing with a temperamental oven and broiler, and with baking season close by, the time had come to get a new range. This range fits almost all the criteria I was looking for. I wanted a double oven with the top oven smaller in size, a fifth burner on the stove top, convection cooking and clean utilitarian lines. I found all this and more in this range. It also has a bread proof function which is a wonderful bonus for me. It has a keep warm and slow cook function, as well. The top oven is perfect for week night dinners as it is just myself and my husband in the house. When I need a larger oven the bottom oven is large in capacity, almost as large as the oven in our old range. The smaller oven on top vs. two ovens of the same size is perfect for us and for the way I cook and bake. Aesthetically this range is a beauty. It has clean and simple lines, no rounded bulky parts to make it look like a stove on steroids. I like simple and utilitarian. It definitely packs a punch in the looks department. I have used almost all the basic functions; standard baking, convection baking, broiling, power burner and middle burner on the stove top, and I made French toast using the supplied griddle. I am very happy with this purchase and am looking forward to many years of use that I have come to expect from KitchenAid. We have and have had many KitchenAid products over the years and appreciate their dedicated and outstanding customer service. My husband said that if we're going to spend the money, spend it on a KitchenAid. Happy camper here. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I could not have made a better choice. Firstly the range is just beautiful. The grates on the top are very sturdy and do not move even with a very large pasta pot on top. There is also no slipping because the grates have a rough coating on them. The oval centerpiece burner is perfect for longer dishes.I was amazed at how much faster the water boils. The upper and lower oven is so convenient. When I need to bake something smaller like brownies or lasagne, I use the upper oven. Its great to use both together when making multiple dishes. The preheating function is super fast. The range is so easy to use. No studying of the instructions necessary. Basic and simple, no mess no fuss. I am extremely busy and do not have time to waste. This range fits perfectly into my lifestyle and is stress free to operate. The display is large and easy to read. Upon opening the upper or lower oven you are surprised by the beautiful blue interior. Overall a great range. The only negative I have is that the timer is very quiet and if I am upstairs it is hard to hear If you are looking for a beautiful yet functional and easy to use range, look no further. Best appliance in my kitchen right now!!!!
I purchased this item for its features and brand reliability. I installed it myself and the only difficulty was due to its weight! That's a good thing! The construction is solid, not in any tinny. I love it!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a standard size oven good for a small family. It's design is contemporary mimicking the more expensive Wolf brand appliances. The 2 top grates are easily removed for cleaning the cook top surface. If you have larger restaurant-type pans ( i.e. All Clad or Staub) this cook top would not easily accommodate them, as the placement of the burners is designed for regular/ smaller pots and pans. For example, one could not have two large fry pans on the cook top at once as they would touch. The gas burners are fine, but I wish they would turn down to a " true simmer" temperature- they don't. The double oven works well for cooking/ backing foods at different temperatures. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We replaced our old (20+ years) with this KitchenAid just before Thanksgiving, what a change, burners light quickly and give a low simmer to high heat. Large Oven maintains it temp setting and cooks evenly the convection works great. It was great to have an upper oven for smaller items and the broiler. A couple of cautions, when the racks are on the lowest position the rack is very close to the oven door if you pull it out so be very careful not to burn your hand, also the roller rack works great except that you must be carful not to let your pan or tray slide off the back of the rack when extended (tray of rolls that were just raised slid off and became pancakes). We really like this range, it is easy to clean and everything works better than expected. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
