[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid Food Processor makes cooking so much easier! What I love the most is that all the pieces/blades store easily into the processor so that you don't have to worry about having multiple attachments all over your kitchen. It also has a very simple and clean design, which makes cleaning all the pieces a cinch. This food processor also is simple to use, as you just click the bowl onto the base, choose your blade attachment, pop on the lid, and you're ready. I appreciate the fact that the lid also hinges all the way off and is easily placed back on so that you can effortlessly remove the food in the bowl and clean the bowl as well. With the sleek and compact design of this, it looks great in my all white/stainless steel kitchen. I've easily chopped things like carrots all the way to almonds, with no problems. The large 9 cup capacity of this processor also means I can chop larger vegetables, like cucumbers, without having to empty the bowl halfway through. I cannot rave enough about this food processor!
Only used it once so far but I'm very impressed! Awesome item and awesome price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This processor is great! It's huge which I love because I make salsa every year and I can fit everything in it. One batch I was able to can 8! It Blends well and easy clean up. It is on the bigger side of food processor but sometimes bigger is better!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to this KitchenAid Food Processor and I'm in love! I first decided to shred some chicken for quesadillas. Then I used it to combine ingredients for banana bread. This food processor is sleek yet classic. It shreds quick and efficiently and with 3 kiddos, I need quick! My 7 year old daughter walked by as I was shredding chicken and made a comment of how quiet the processor is! I am so impressed with this small kitchen appliance and happy I've added another KitchenAid to my kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product will not disappoint! It's great in size, easy to assemble and use. The motor is strong, has good capacity, many attachments and the best thing I have found is the storage. I love that all the attachments fit inside the bowl which is a huge benefit. Everything is compact for easy storing. The product performs well, chopping and slicing is so much easier. It sure has saved a lot of time when prepping for meals. The lid is attach/detach which makes emptying and cleaning the bowls so simple. Seems of great quality, very sturdy and doesn't seem to move or shake while in use If you spend a lot of time in the kitchen and have been looking for something to reduce your prep time this is the product that I would highly recommend. I am very pleased with it and I look forward to using it for many years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works beautifully, but of course I am not surprised since it is a Kitchenaid! Much bigger than my old one and yet still fits on my counter with plenty of space between it and the top cabinets. Comes with multiple slicer/shredder options that all store right inside when not in use. I like that the manual has usage tips for best results, never too old to learn a better way to cook. Cleaning is really simple, especially since this is dishwasher safe. The best part: no more twisting the lid. My wrists thank you Kitchenaid!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not new to food processors. I have a very powerful blender that does a lot, and a food processor that has multiple functions. But, my food processor does not have a 9 cup capacity. This unit is very easy to use, but even if you are a novice, you can be up and running in about 10 minutes. The included instruction booklet is so easy to read, and the illustrations are spot on. This unit comes with three blades. The main blade that gets places on the bottom, and 2 large disc blades that get placed at the top of the spindle, for slicing and shredding. You place the disc with large raised side up for slicing, and the side with small raised shredding blades are face sized up. You can pulse or leave steady on in sloe or fast mode. I only dropped it one star because of the shrill noise it makes when being operated. My unit functions beautifully for me. In my photos I ground my Non GMO , organic oats so I can make quick oats when I have to be out and about. I have insane food allergies, so I prepare and cook everything for myself. So, quality kitchen tools are a must for me. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this processor. I had this in my wish list, so I was ecstatic when I received it to test. This brand has never let me down before, and I am so glad it lived up to my high expectations. I love it.
I've never really used a food processor before, but I liked the fact that it could evenly slice veggies; made my stir fried foods cook evenly and well. Only caveat is the myriad of pieces and getting the blade to lock in the right position was a bit cumbersome. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am actually very impressed with this food processor! It is made from plastic for most of the product BUT it is heavy duty plastic! There is some metal on it but for the most part it's super heavy duty plastic. I know it's heavy duty because when I use it, I don't feel like the machine is going to fall apart on me. And it doesn't scratch easily either. I love that all of the pieces, EXCEPT the base, are machine washable! If I am in a hurry, I can just toss it in the dishwasher and let it clean it for me! The main blade on this processor is VERY sharp! It can process any food with ease! It only took it a minute to chop the bean dip I made! It is like a beast processing food, and powerful. The motor in it is powerful enough to make pretty much any food you want! The machine itself is a bit noisy though. I personally don't mind it though! This food processor comes with the main blade, a medium slicing disc and a thick slicing disc. ALL of these fit inside of the processor! It makes life SO much easier because it's a space saver! Using the machine is very easy too! The bowl just clicks into the base and when you are done, it comes right back off! It takes no effort. The lid also just clicks into the bowl, and has a latch on it that you close when you use it. There are 3 buttons on the processor. High, Low and Off/Pulse. You just push down on whatever one you want to use and voila! It is very straight forward! I honestly have been loving this food processor! It's just the perfect size for me and it works SO well! I have been telling people about it because I love it that much! If you don't mind a little noise and you want a very high quality, well built food processor.. this one would be perfect for you! Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed I promise! Pros: Quality, Ease of use, Durability Cons: Noisy
I've had this for about 6 months and have used it a few times mostly to make cauliflower rice. Unfortunately after 1 month of use, the right toggle on the lid snapped off when I was simply attaching the lid back onto the bowl as directed in the user manual. At first, I thought that this was somehow user error and was able to still fasten this to the bowl. So I shrugged it off as my bad. But just recently I pulled the lid out of the dishwasher (top shelf) and saw that the other toggle has completely snapped off. Clearly this is due to the quality of the plastic. At this point, I'm going to be forced to try and purchase a replacement lid after only 6 months of light use. I've been a Kitchen Aid fan for a while, and love my other kitchen aid products that have stood the test of time. It's just very sad that this product doesn't meet the same standards.
