I just bought a stand mixer for myself for Christmas and I used both the burnished flat beater and the burnished dough hook once AND I followed the directions of hand washing and immediately drying them. I made bread again today and there's gray stuff in my dough from the hook. I posted a picture of gray stuff in my bread dough. Terrible. I also know this is going to happen with the flat beater the next time I use it. You need to fix this!
