It has an awesome design that helps keep my table clean due to it shielding any splatter from my food ingredients. Plus, the slopped design allow for much better mixing of my ingredients. It is well made and a good quality. It should last a very very long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shield fits the bowl of the mixer well and keeps the flour from flying out of the bowl when mixing in other ingredients. It works well with liquid ingredients also. The clips keep the shield in place even when you accidentally knock the shield while using. This is an upgrade from the shield that used to sit loose on the bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pouring shield works great with my KitchenAid mixer. It is easy to install and fit my mixer perfectly. It makes baking a lot quicker as I pour my ingredients easily and less messy. The quality is real good as with all the KitchenAid products I own. It is also very easy to clean up as its dishwasher safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first held the shield, it felt like a sturdy product that won't break easily. I easily attached it to my bowl and it fit well. I was making profiteroles, so I had to pour my eggs into the batter, and I can say that the shield prevented the eggs from flying everywhere. That certainly increased my confidence! I like the design and quality of the product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes that the KitchenAid Secure Fit Pouring Shield would fit my older model KitchenAid mixer but it is a little too big. My model (KG25H7X) is a lift stand with a 5 quart metal bowl. However, the diameter of the top of my bowl is 8.5 inches (measured from outer edges) and it appears this attachment is over 9 inches wide. It will still sit on my bowl and allow me to pour in ingredients from the side which is wonderful but the tabs don't “snap” in and therefore it isn't a “secure fit.” It is nice that it is dishwasher safe (top rack).
Just received this for my 5 quart bowl and it just floats on top Poor design misleading ad\ Will have to do as they no other Buyer beware
It wont fit well.We do have 7qtz.How can I return or exchange it?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own an older model bowl lift KitchenAid mixer (KG25H0XER5). This pour shield does not seem to fit on our bowl lift model. It's a 5 quart stainless steel bowl, the same one that came with the mixer, but the fit is very poor. The pour shield is a bit larger than the bowl - there are large gaps between the lip of this pour shield and the mixer bowl, the black "clips" don't touch the bowl at all, they're a half inch or more away from the bowl, so the pour shield just sits very loosely on top of the bowl. A light sneeze could likely knock this pour shield off of the bowl completely. I can't say for sure if this would fit any other bowl lift models, but it's useless for my model.
