First of all, I gave them five stars because they are not plastic. That's why I bought them. No plastic for me. But the funny thing is this. I got them and couldn't believe it because I was expecting much bigger clips. Still small, but much bigger. Nope, these are Thumbelina's clips. Tiny. Probably my fault, the size was probably listed somewhere. I like them but just beware, they are super tiny. Accent clips. But very nice quality.
Their strong and the claws have nice grip however they are alot smaller than what i had expected. And i also noticed that they will not fully grab a chunk of hair all the way around since their so small. But they a great product not worth 11 dollar to only grab small chunks of hair tho.
Strong sturdy clips, perfect for curly/wavy hair. I love how they look, and boy can they hold. My daughter and I use lots of clips and these are perfect for clipping your bangs back, and also root clipping curly hair. Love love love these. You get 4 and they are by far the best claw clips I've ever had.

These butterfly clips are good quality, and they're a neutral color with a nice, shiny finish. They're relatively small, so they don't hold a ton of hair--they're more of an accent piece, and can also be used to help create root volume.The only thing I would do to improve them is that I wish they were a bit thicker. I feel like the metal is so thin, they're a bit uncomfortable against my scalp. It seems like they might feel a bit smoother and more comfortable if the metal weren't as thin.I do like them, though, and they're a handy little size, and pretty color.
I didn't look at the measurements and I was thinking that these clips were going to be a little bit bigger than they are. That is my fault though and not the clip. The clip is made of metal... which means that they are very strong and much more durable than the plastic clips that I have always used when separating my hair to straighten... my only problem with these clips is sometimes it can be hard to open them.
These aren't exactly miniature, they're about an inch in size. Convenient for grabbing and keeping hair out of your eyes. The clip itself seems to be made of a shaped metal without rounded edges. Less polished look. I would use these for every day, not special events.
