The microscope came in a day earlier than expected. It worked great to get my 11 year old homeschooled son interested in something other than video games. He loves it. He was very interested in the prepared slides as well. The only complaint I do have is that there is no fine focus on it. It does have a very clear view and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see the microscopic world. We could not see the nucleus of skin cells, however, and this was the reason for the purchase of this microscope, but I am still very pleased with it for the money. He loves it, so it is still a win. My next purchase will be an AmScope 40x-2000x. I'm going to try this one to see if it will show the nucleus, but it cost $150. If your not picky about the nucleus go with the Konus.

Everything is plastic the microscope won't even fit together right the collection bottle lids won't stay on the prepared slides are plastic with TAPE over the specimen. One slide provided plastic did i say that the microscope won't stay together.
