great for overnight

This is my overnight diaper. The prints are very cute and of course it would be a great daytime diaper also, but I mostly use prefolds during the day. But the kushies has enough absorbancy for overnight use. It's so simple my husband always grabs these if there is one clean.

These are the only cloth diapers I have used so I don't have anything to compare them to but I really love them so far. After 2 1/2 hours they start to leak but I don't use any doublers or anything. They are very cute although kind of bright for me. I'd like to get another pack of the green and yellow ones too. I seem to use 4 in a day (we use disposables over night) so with one pack of 5 I can use them every other day. I wash them first thing in the morning then dry them with a dry towel added to the dryer for a bit longer than a load of clothes, then hang them outside to finish drying, and they are dry by evening.

Awesome diaper for the money

I have been cloth diapering my 2 little ones for 2 1/2 years now. I prefer all-in-one diapers and have several different brands. Kushies are a great diaper for the price - an excellent way to build up your stash. They are large for an infant, and breastfed baby poops are sometimes a challenge with these diapers, but overall I love them. As with all all-in-one diapers, they do take extra time in the dryer.

Love them

We switched to cloth to save money and was afraid I wouldn't like them but I do. My 5 month old has not leaked at all in these diapers and she would have almost daily leaks before in the disposable diapers. We love these and they wash so easily.

Good value, easy to use

These cute diapers are a good value for the money. They seem to work well and not leak, and they are very cute in design. They are still a little bulky, although less so than the regular Kushies. We have several different types of cloth diapers, as we are trying to find our favorites. These are very easy to use for anyone--they are pretty much like a disposable. The flap in the middle is good for faster drying, although it still takes extra time in the dryer to dry the thick absorbent part of the diaper--which is not as economical. When it is spring and summer, they are great out on the line where the sun can also bleach out any stains that may get on them. The fabric is more rough than the bamboo and hemp that we have, but it is not bothering their bums at all so far. We also do EC, so we have not had many poopy diapers. My husband thinks that if a person left the diapers on too long then it may start to bother the baby's bum. Overall I would recommend them for someone who wants a cloth diaper that is close to a disposable. Great for moms, dads, grandparents, and childcare providers.

Only one problem

These are great...even better than the Ultra style. The only problem that I have been having is that the material folds under above the velcro strip sometimes and it can be irritating to my baby. They are great as far as leakage though.

I really like these diapers. The prints/colors are fun and cute! The only thing that I have a minor problem with is that they take a longer to dry than my bumgenius diapers and and the velcro tabs open up during the wash and stick to my other diapers liners. These are only minor issues, but worth it for the diapers! They are a great product at a great value!

Good All In One

This is a great all in one cloth diaper for the money. It is easy to use and comfortable for my baby. I use these when we go out or when we leave our baby with a babysitter because they are just as easy as disposable diapers. They do take a while to dry, I would dry it on a normal cycle then let them air dry the rest of the way. In comparing these to other all in ones these are very good for the price, however I use prefolds and diaper covers most of the time to diaper my baby because they are even cheaper and easier to wash.

Maybe in the future?

I say I'd recommend it because it may work for others. Perhaps it's just still too big for my daughter so when she sleeps it just leaks upwards towards her belly and one accident was enough for me not to put her through it again. Maybe we'll try again in a few months?!

I am not overly impressed. These are not the diaper of choice for me, that's for sure. They are ok for daytime but leaked more often than not even with constant diaper changes and my daughter is NOT a heavy wetter. I much prefer the "brand name" diapers. I will not be purchasing any more of these. They are a great price but not if they don't work properly. I did like that they didn't need to be stuffed, just snap and go but again, not great if they leak so that a complete change of clothing is needed. I may use these for when my other diapers are in the laundry but that would be about it. I certainly won't trust them for any times away from home.
