I'm a new mom and never used cloth diapers before I've priced out various types and decided to buy this trial pack. My 2 month old has used these diapers a few times now as a trial and they haven't leaked even when he had a runny bowel movement. He hasn't slept in one yet though.

I bought those because I'm switching away from Pampers due to my daughter getting bad rashes (from their new technology). And I love those. They're much cheaper than other/or brand name cloth diapers. I love that they have velcro tabs instead of buttons so there is no in between sizes. They wash great. Drying I didn't try in the drier yet as it's warm and I just hang them on the line. Most important they hold the mess and she get's no rash.

These diapers are an awesome value for they type of diaper thay are, these are AIO's (All in One) meaning they are the closest thing to a disposable in ease of use. Baby wears it, you wash/dry and baby wears again. No stuffing or multi step process like some other cloth diapers can have. I have use several types and brands of Cloth diapers and these may not be the cutest but they are durable and hard working. I do agree that they don't have the back elastic or extra leg gussets that other diapers may have but I have had 8month old EBF poo and begining solids poo stay completely contained in these diapers (even when baby was in the car seat-which is when most diapers will have blowouts-disposable included) Also an extra bonus it that the absorbant part of these diapers are 100% cotton which is better from an allergy and long term smell stand point(some synthetics can retain amonia smell over time) The only possiable negative thing is that they do not have a stay dry layer (usually a synthetic material) to keep the baby "feeling" dry, personally I prefer my baby to know when she is wet so that she will learn her body cues for she is going and will help when she is potty learning. I would definately recomend this trial package for anyone intrested in cloth diapering (the wash cloths can be used as "baby wipes"- your gonna wash the diaper why not wash the wipes also!)

purchased this to save on the cost of diapers, but it does not fit well on our 1 month baby(9lbs). Maybe it will fit better when our baby grown up a little bit. But should not it better if there are something could be adjusted to fit the leg? Hope it could be used later......

Plastic stuff on the outside wears out

I have had my Kushies for about 18 months. I got them used on diaper swappers. This week I ripped the velcro and soakers out of four of them to make new diapers out of them. They were in great shape except that the waterproof layer on the outside of the diaper cracked and ripped along the legs were it was gathered with elastic. It came to me a little bit cracked and did okay this summer when I was able to hang them on the clothesline to dry. Now that it is winter and I'm putting them in the dryer twice a week, the damage has accelerated and I only have about 4 left. Another thing I don't care for about these is that there is no elastic at the back so poo can shoot straight up and it doesn't stay in the legs too well either. I know it says 12-22 lbs, but I was able to put these on my 33 lb daughter until she potty trained, and on my 3 month old son with a little finagling. I have had just as much success with diapers I have sewn myself as with these that I bought, if not more. Kushies are the only CD's I've bought, but I have heard better reviews about other brands.
