[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace a lock on the front door of our mobile home. We wanted one that was easy to operate and would not always need a key for. The lock comes with everything needed to install, even the template to cut the hole in the door. It took around an hour for the complete install. Using your smartphone, you can download the app that lets you lock and unlock the door. It is really simple to set up the app. You can use the app, the keypad, or the provided keys to open the door from the outside. Inside you can use the app, or the knob to unlock the door. The lock is aesthetically pleasing inside and out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These keypad locks are a great innovation. Useful for my kids so they don't have to carry a house key. Even my five year old knows the code and can open the door. Would also be excellent for AirBnB uses because you can program 250 codes and the app notifies you when someone opens/locks the door. It took about an hour to install, including programming. Directions were clear and all parts were labeled well. Uses 4 AA batteries. Best part is I was able to key the new lock to my original lock so my house keys still work the same.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first smart device I've ever bought and I love it . It was so easy to install with the best step by step directions I've ever used. And it works great I can set it to automatically lock after I open it or I can remotely lock or unlock it from multiple cell phones or Google home or Alexa. You can also set a 4-6 digit code into it for the keypad and have up to 250 different codes for different people and it generates a log of who came and went and at what time. You can also have it send a notification to your phone to notify you if someone locks or unlocks it and you can always see the current status. It is very well made and comes with the old fashion key if anything fails. I will enclose some pictures so you can see how good it looks.

This smart lock offers so many options, I can not believe how many. Great for when you leave the house and wonder if you locked it. Well just get on the app and check and if not you can lock from your phone. I also was surprised at the fact you can give a one time use code, so you can allow someone in for some purpose and then they can not use code and get in again. Comes with a key in case you forget code. I have already gone an gotten another one of these for my back door I like so well.

Took me a few min to figure it all out after downloading app. Set it to my 4 digit code so when I get home just poot in and it unlocks with ease. When leaving just close door and press lock and ifits raining just pull up app befor getting out of car press unlock and run.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Halo kwikset wifi lock system. It was easy to assemble and install if you already have a deadbolt lock. I downloaded the app and it had easy step by step instructions. I like that it is connected to the wifi but have the option to still use the keys if you want. The system is battery operated so if you do not want to connect it to wifi, you don't have to. The downside to this is the app is tricky as far as locking and unlocking. You have to use bluetooth and be right up on the door for it to work. Also, mine is currently saying it is jammed but it is actually locked. It has a sleek design and looks nice. Overall I do love it, just some kinks to work out. It is convenient because you don't have to dig out the keys. Great product made from quality materials.
Been using this lock for 1 yr. I live in TN the lock is on a house 650 mi. away in FL. Easy setup. Great initial experience. I chose this lock because it had Wi-Fi capabilities so that I could program guest codes for short-term rentals remotely. At least once every 60 days it has lost connection to the Wi-Fi making it impossible to program remotely. Three times the lock came back online on its own within a couple of days. Twice we were able to fix by having someone go to the house and reset our Wi-Fi and power cycle the lock. Approximately 6 weeks ago a storm knocked out the power in the area and the lock has not reconnected to the Wi-Fi since. We have reset our Wi-Fi, replaced the batteries, power cycled the lock... everything except a factory reset which will require us to make the 10-hour drive one way to accomplish. Kwikset customer service has been useless. Every solution that they propose requires that I be within Bluetooth range in order to reset, reconnect, or reprogram the lock. If I was using this on my personal residence it would be fine. However, there are cheaper Bluetooth-only Smart locks that would work just as well for that. Do not purchase this lock if you need something that you can reliably operate remotely from a great distance. If you do purchase this lock, be sure you have regular access to it and plan on reconnecting via Bluetooth on a regular basis.

This is the wrong image for this product. The image shown is the touchscreen model. I ordered this thinking I was getting the model shown, but I received the one with raised buttons. I thought they simply sent the wrong product, but when I requested a replacement, I got another raised-button model. In the return process, there was no means for indicating the actual problem. In summary, this is a great lock, but they should use the correct image for the product they're selling.
Eats batteries unbelievably fast. My older Kwikset locks I have to change batteries once a year. And those doors get used more than the "Halo". As these fail I will try another brand.
