Great phones great price great conversation great buy.
Great phones Motorola the reason why I like them is because the rubber buttons for the numbers are easy to push compaired to the little plastic ones on other phones I have bought way back. The only down fall is on the address book on one phone you have to put the numbers in it will store them into that one phone but the other three hands sets won't see the numbers in them that I have already done with that one handset phone that's not good for me it's a pain. I had another problem with these phones is that on one of the handset is that the ear piece dosen't work so I call the company up and they said they are sending me a replacement handset for free because it's under warrenty be aware people make sure it works fine when you get them home and is still under warrenty and not kept them over a year and a half then you can't return them to the store or get another handset for free.. Thanks from Matthew from NH
Product works very well. Setup is fairly easy. The directions are hard to read and difficult to follow! Picture & numbers on one page and explanation and directions on backside of the page, making it very difficult to match up!!
I really like these phones. They are easy to set up, and easy to use. The answering machine works fine, and you don't have to worry about setting up the date/time because the first time someone calls you, it sets itself automatically. I liked them so much that I bought this same model, in a smaller package (3 phones instead of 4) for my mom. I just finished setting hers up, and it was a breeze, just like mine were. I hope they last a good long time. They look nice and have a good solid feel to them. Also, last # redial goes back for several of the last #'s you've dialed. I really like that feature. It's quicker than using the phone book, and, if you only routinely dial just a few #'s, like me, it comes in handy.
We are still getting used to them, they are very different from our last phone. They sit a little low in the cradle which makes it awkward to place them back in after you have used them. They do not have the caller ID play back function so that you know what calls you have missed. I need to read over the manual once again, a bit more complicated than my last phone. The phones are good quality. I am sure once I know how to properly use them I will be much happier.
Haven't had this system that long, good so far, no issues. The setup was easy and the phones and answer device are working properly. I have had other phone sets that were unreliable and the battery life was terible. I hope that this system's battery life is longer and the system remains working properly.
Replaced my 12 year old uniden system with this one, so far they are working well. I'm not crazy about having to retrieve my messages on the handset without the ability to do so on the base, but it's ok.
I had purchased an AT & T set that had two handsets. One of them never worked. I even purchased a new battery for the second handset but it still never worked. All of these are working fine. I have an elderly mother who doesn't care much for cell phones and loves to talk on the phone. I thought that if one handset didn't work she'd have three that did. I like that you don't have to go to the main base to pick up messages. I can retrieve messages off of any handset.
I was not happy, when I went to use the base phone, and it was dead. It has been in use for a little over a week. I called motorola and they told me I had to return the whole system to the store. They had no Idea why 1 phone would go out and the others wouldn't.
The Motorola cordless phones are not for the elderly. I am 62 years old and my friends are my age or older, so no I would not recommend that they purchase the phones. The ring tone are so low even on the highest volume the ring is low. If I had not destroyed the packaging I would return the phones for an exchange or a refund. I now must have by old phone plugged in to know when the Motorola phones are ringing.
