The clock works great. The only thing I found a tad bit annoying is that the numbering, and overall LCD face, is a little smaller than I had anticipated from looking at the picture. Draw a 3 1/4" high X 5" wide box on a white sheet of paper. That is the viewing area of the LCD Screen. O.K. - not a deal breaker, but again a little less viewing area than I had hoped for. As for the remote outside temperature transmitter, I am pleased as it reflects the outside temperature accurately. Make sure not to place it in direct sunshine. I've placed clock in the kitchen and the transmitter about 25' outside the back kitchen door in a semi-shaded area. As long as it gets enough "indirect light" you won't have any problems keeping the little unit charged and transmitting properly. All in all, I am pleased with it's performance and I do recommend it highly to others.
At under $18 each, I ordered three more, and now have four. I use thes in three differnet rooms, and a garage. Best part is that I use only one solar transmitter for all four. It is important to note, that if you are adding clocks, you must remove the batteries from ALL of the clocks, push the set buttonn on the solar remote, and within a few minutes of pushing the button, you must (re)insert the batteries in all of the clocks. It only works this way. Not a big deal, but worth noting.
this wall clock exceeds my expectation, price was unbeatable, it has a remote temperature sensor that charges its battery with a small solar cell making it almost maintenance free as long as you position it where reasonable light shines on it. on the clock itself, setup was a snap and it only needs a couple of AA cells. overall; a nice wall clock at a very reasonable price.
This clock was shipped promptly from Walmart.com. I purchased this clock to replace an analog clock in one of my bathrooms. I think the moisture may have affected the old one and I had to reset the hands frequently. So far this clock is always on with the time according to its "atomic" clock setting and has been working for a week now. I hope that I will not have to touch this clock except to change the battery as needed.
Could not have expected more, perfect in my man cave garage.
I bought it because there is no battery's needed for the outside sensor. It is solar powered so your not running out of power and needing to change battery's all the time.
Works great and temps for inside and outside r very accurate! Need it to b since it's in my 1 yr old daughters room. looks nice too and can read the display well even in low lighting. Very happy!
I love this clock especially the outdoor temp. Both indoor and outdoor temps are accurate and the clock is very pretty.
I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAWS CHRISTMAS PRESENT. SHE LOVES THE FACT THAT SHE KNOWS THE OUTSIDE TEMP WITHOUT EVEN GOING OUTSIDE. THE CLOCK AUTOMATICALLY ADJUSTS TO THE TIME CHANGES, SO SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING LATE, OR EARLY, TO WORK AT THOSE TIMES OF THE YEAR.
I am overall very satisfied with the clock. I bought it because it sets itself by the atomic radio standard so I can use it to set my other watches. The radio reception here in northern california seems good as it picks up the signal easily no matter where I put it in my den. The unit also measures temperature and is very accurate as referenced to other digital thermometers I have. It comes with a battery operated outdoor temp sensor that sends the outdoor temperature to the base unit by radio so no wires are needed. My only complaint is that the remote unit was DOA, it did not work at all no matter what I did. I called the manufacturer and they sent me another one which is currently working perfectly. It's pretty amazing how much performance and features it gives for the price.
