The mango always adds a nice touch with a salty tortilla chip! Tastes like homemade instead of jar! Chunky though, so if you dont like chunks its not for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE salsa, and I don't usually like the sweet ones as much, but this one was fabulous! Once I opened the container, it was hard to put down! There are a lot of big chunks, not just a thin runny liquid. The chunks of mango and peach and tomato were visible and easy to scoop onto chips. I was surprised just how sweet this salsa was, and I could taste the flavor of the mangos and peaches in it. I wouldn't use this in place of spicy salsa on most dishes where I want a kick of heat, but to eat with chips or nachos, it added a great flavor. There is definitely a place for this kind of salsa and it's delicious.

The only problem is that we usually can't agree on the heat level of the salsa. He likes a lot of heat, so he generally goes for the hottest, spiciest choice. I, on the other hand, just can't handle the heat, so I only like the mildest salsa flavors. But we have just discovered a salsa we can agree on, and that's this Mango Peach Salsa by La Mexicana. This stuff has a bright, sweet flavor that is very fresh. It isn't very spicy, but there are several dimensions to the taste. You'll find tomatoes, mangoes, peaches, onions, and jalapeño peppers in this salsa, and they all come together to make a delicious mix for Tortilla Night! I can't wait to use it as a chutney with chicken sometime soon. I love this stuff and am so glad we found it, because I will be buying it pretty regularly from now on. You should definitely try it!

I love the standard La Mexicana salsa, so I figured this would be the same thing with a hint of mango and peach. Nope. This is horrifyingly sweet. Now I've got a full tub of this and feel too guilty to throw it out.
