I like the hook. I don't love the hook. It's nicely made for the money. It has a narrow head and a deep throat. It's not as smooth as I would like it to be, but most wood hooks do create a bit of a drag on the yarn. It has decorative turnings on the end. I collect crochet hooks, so I was happy to get one that I didn't have in my collection. If you want a hook that causes less fatigue to your hand, and the yarn just glides over it; get the Clover Amour, Clover Soft Touch, Tulip Etimo, & The Crochet Lite (plastic with a light. Works well with most yarns).
