I ordered this item due to the good reviews on it. I'm crocheting a bedspread and thought this would fit the bill for not having the ball of crochet thread rolling on the floor, but it wasn't worth it. Maybe it's me, but the thread kept on getting tangled, not to mention the metal disc kept popping off. I went back to my original way by having the ball sit in a plastic bag as I worked with it.
