Ok I am a lash newbie and struggle with glue lashes so on a whim I ordered these lashes. They are great! I had no trouble applying them and they are super light. If you're looking for majorly dramatic lashes they may not be for you but for something subtle and natural they are amazing.They are just what I needed to make my eyes pop.
Very natural and simple to use over and over . They take some practice but once you get it they are perfect !
The Lafabs Magnetic Eyelash Set is a must have! I watched the youtube video on how to apply and after a few quick trial runs, I have perfect, fluttery, long lashes in a couple easy steps. I will never go back to the time consuming process of gluing my false eyelashes again.
Please note that this review is brought to you by a total magnetic lash newby and "only on Halloween" fake lash wearer. I bought these because I wanted to experiment with wearing lashes on a more regular basis without applying glue or worry about them falling off when the glue failed (no lash glue has ever survived a Halloween and I'm honestly terrified of the type of cement-esque glue I would need to make that happen). It takes a minute to figure out how to get these on, but they're actually great. The mistake I made right away was that I didn't realize that they really were sending two complete sets of lashes. I thought I was only looking at one set of really thick lashes and the top and bottom lashes were just randomly separated in two different cases. I kept trying to put the two sets on at the same time (which does not work at all) and the lashes will just stick to the applicator instead of clipping to your lashes. You have to pick up what looks like one lash, rub it slightly between your fingers, and it will come apart to where you're looking at the bottom and top for one eye. Now you'll see the dots that they describe in the instructions and the videos. Either this part wasn't accurately described in the instructions and videos or I just kept missing it. ***When you open the applicator to release the lashes, DO NOT pull forward in any way. Doing this will mess up placement every time.*** Before you try and put these one, you need to get comfortable with the applicator. Every set of eyes has a slightly different shape and size, so you need to figure out what works best for you. It works just like an eyelash curler, but with much less chance of pinching you. You position the top of the applicator to the top of your lash line. If possible, (we all have different eye sizes) try and position the applicator so that the outer corner of the applicator is closer to the outer corner of your lash line. Now try clamping down. You want to practice getting the applicator as close to your lash line as possible. This will seem scary (it definitely was to a newby like me), but as I mentioned, you have very little chance of actually pinching. The closer you can get to the lash line, the better these will look and feel. I feel like the technique of setting the top of the applicator to your eye and clamping down with the bottom gives more control over application, and once again, less chance of pinching. Now you can practice with the actual lashes and follow the instructions and the how-to video. As far as the lashes themselves: These have two longish magnets on the tops and bottoms of the lashes, which I felt gave more control on application - they perfectly matched up to the applicator. If I accidentally don't get these close enough to my lash line, they feel heavy and uncomfortable. I always had to trim down the fake lashes I would use for Halloween, but these didn't need to be trimmed at all.
I always thought magnetic eyelashes won't work, but I ended up liking this a lot. It was easy to put on after few trials and looked really natural on my eyes. Watching videos on how to put them on was very helpful - overall very satisfied!
Just got these today. I have tried every thing and always had trouble getting other brands to work, but these went on very easy. My boyfriend loves them. So glad I purchased these. Can't wait to wear them to work tomorrow. Thank you so much! Love them
Really great packaging! Easy to apply and go the hang of putting on pretty quickly! So glad I tried!! A mom of 4 and this cuts my make up prep time!!! So natural looking too!! Love love love these!!!!
They look amazing but can slide off your eyelashes and also if you dont get them close enough to your eye they look and feel super weird
The clip is already broken when I received it. Tried Ardell clip but NOT working for LaFabs' lashes. Roughly fixed the clip by myself then tried many times to put lashes close to my natural lash root but not possible sadly. Maybe cut the lash in half will work better. However, the lash length is awkward that not good for use in whole or half. I used Ardell and Kiss for years. This product is not good enough to be compared with them. Again, the clip's magnetic part is broken, the lashes' magnetic stripes are offset from each other. Not returning only because I need the case for travel but I will replace it with my Ardell lashes instead.
The applicator came broken with no magnets on the top piece. Only paid more for this set because the lashes and applicator came as a pair. Cannot even use the lashes since the applicator came defective. You can see in the photo there is no magnet on the top arm, but there is on the bottom arm
