I bought the bed and headboard and I have no complaints. It is sturdy, solid, beautiful, stylish, modern, sleek, and it was so reasonably priced! My sister and I put it together in about 2 hours, so not bad for two scatter-brained girls! This is the first "real" bed with a headboard I have ever had, and I love it. Plus, it's PEFC (???) certified, which means that any trees harmed in the making of this bed were replenished - go green! P.S. - the bedspread in the picture is also an eco-friendly product by EcoSolutions that I also bought at Wal-Mart, and I love it as well!
I love the bed.... the assembly isn't too bad. I put it together by myself... It would be much easier if you have someone there helping. Overall the bed looks great... it does scratch easily so be careful.
This product is very beautiful. I didnt think it was gonna be as nice as it is. It looks and feels very expensive. I would recommend u get the matching dresser and headboard it looks great in my room and the foundation can even withstand the hold if your one of those heavy people like me and my boyfriend. It even looks good with a boxspring too! It really is a steal.
We just moved into a new house, and our queen boxsprings didnt fit up the stairs. So it was either pay $250+ for new boxsprings, or buy a bed that didnt require them. SO happy we chose the later!! I REALLY love this bed!! Comes in 3 boxes as listed, and one came before the others. The boxes are heavy!! Took a couple of hours for 2 people to assemble, which to me for a bed is not too bad. But you definitely have to have a t least 2 people. Actually, when putting on the top platform, we could have used another set of hands, but we got it done with just the 2 of us. With the house purchase, we bought a lot of new furniture, and to be quite honest this was the least difficult item to put together. YOU WILL NEED A DRILL FOR SURE!! As for the reviews about the headboard holes not lining up, they are a tad bit off, but not too bad. Just don't tighten everything up until you have all the screws in. 2 pieces were nicked up, but they were the inside pieces that cant be seen, so i dont mind. Overall the bed looks amazing, is VERY sturdy, and extremely comfortable. You really cant beat it for the price. It's super contemporary, just the look I was going for. The arches headboard is also a really nice feature for watching TV/reading in bed. I would recommend to anyone!!
This bed is great! I love the design of the bed and it looks awesome in our room. The only things are that it is packaged in a really long package so even in my SUV I had to put all the back seats down and move the passenger seat all the way forward for it to fit everything. Additionally, it is time-consuming to put together. Not difficult, but time-consuming. You won't need your boxspring once it is done you'll need to figure out what to do with that. We're storing ours so when we get a new matress we can sell this used one as a set with the boxspring. Finally, the bed is really heavy once assembled and is not easy to move. So I would encourage you to assemble it exactly where you want it. Make sure you give yourself at least 8" from the wall for the curvature in the headboard. All in all a fantastic purchase and the Site-to-Store feature, which sold me, was a breeze. The Walmart associate even brought the bed out to my SUV in the parking lot, I didn't have to pull it up to the front, back, side or anything. I highly recommend this bed.
Came packed in three different boxes and all were in great shape. Really confusing to put together, recommend you lay all componets out and line up screws, then study where everything goes before you try too put this bed together. The slats are very sturdy, but this is not a bed you can allow kids to rough house on, the frame and headboard are sturdy as long as you do not put a lot of pressure on them, you can lay on the headboard but don't push on it. would recommend for an adult or teenager. I bought this for my teenager and it is perfect for her, great if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
This bed is very unique and classy. The time spent to put it together was well worth it. Assembly was not as difficult as I imagined it would be. I love my new bed and I would recommend it to anyone, it looks great in my bedroom. My only negative is that the headboard does not seem to be tighten enough and it seems a little loose, yet not loose enough to fall apart.
I purchased a memory foam mattress to put on top of the platform that can accompany this headboard. Let me just say that I am a woman who is bad with directions sometimes, but I was able to put this bed together on my own and I am truly pleased with the look, sturdiness and quality of it. There were two nicks in the headboard which are small enough to allow me to color them in with a furniture marker, and I was missing one of the bigger bolts for the headboard, but overall it came together easily, and looks very nice! If you purchase the platform, I would recommend someone to help you with the outer platform frame-I had to find stuff to support it at the right height until I had it fitted on, but overall it looks just like the pics, great purchase!!
We shipped our bed with site-to-store and when we picked it up I could already tell the pieces would be damaged. Once we got the boxes home, we opened them up to find that 7 of the 10 total large pieces were VERY damaged. We contacted the company for replacement parts - they were shipped quickly; however, they only sent 6 replacement pieces when we needed 7, and 1 of them was a piece we didn't even need AND 3 of the new pieces were damaged as well!!! Very disappointed in the shipping with this product, which ruined most of our pieces. The assembly is a bit laborous and I would reccommend having at least 2 people to assemble. Now that it's finally together, I am okay with it, but I will never purchase a "cheap" bed again, totally not worth it.
Dont get me wrong, the bed is very cute LOOKING. However after putting this thing together for hours, having to get replacement parts shipped because they came damaged, the poor quality of this bed is without question. Getting the purchase online was hard enough but in getting the actual product it is painfully obvious that it was not worth the effort. In short, it is a quick fix--its cheap and cute when the pieces dont come damaged. Other than that, if you have the money to spend, buy a real bed. Seriously I dont anticipate this thing surviving beyond a year.
