Also the top light illuminates the living room. This is perfect behind my recliner.
I knew what I wanted when I went searching for it. I found it Walmart.com. I purchased it. it was easy and shipping was fast.
It is very heavy, so it shouldn't fall over easily, but that makes it difficult to move for someone who is older or has health problems. The reading light is not easily positioned. The switch for the upper light is on the opposite side of the lamp from the reading light. It was easy enough to assemble.
The base is loose, so I had to have it tightened so the pole wouldn't swing. The top switch is loose so I have to keep turning and wiggling the stem to turn the light on.
purchased amber/bronze received white/black lights are ok, service sucks.
