very very pleased
Terrific large outdoor fire pit. It exceeded our expectations.
At 50 pounds this is borderline as portable. But that is a blessing to the heavy duty construction. I have a large back yard but do not want a permanent fire pit , so i spent many hours looking for the perfect one. This one was chosen for it's size and construction. We are able to have fire whenever we want and still have a large back yard with no obstructions. You would want to store this in a shed when not in use , but covers are available also. I love this one , and it is the second one i have bought. We moved from out of state and left the old one back there. This one was purchased through walmart and shipping was 2 days from purchase to delivery.
Have not used it yet, but appears very sturdy, and looks great.
This is such a great looking fire pit. We are looking forward to many years of use. We bought some nice wrought iron chairs to go with it from Sams Club. A great addition to our property!
My wife bought this for my birthday in 2016. I have used it to burn cardboard, brush, dunnage etc. And yes we used it for log fires. We kept it outside winter/summer and bought the vinyl cover. It is now falling apart and I'm ordering another right now!
This is my second super sky firepit. I love it. It is huge and always gets compliments. My first one lasted 7 years before the bottom rusted out. The mesh screen only lasted 3 years before being rusted out. Mostly my fault for leaving it outdoors year round. Reason for a 4 star review is it was missing 1/4 of the bolts required for assembly of the safety ring. Needs 8 only recieved 6.
Easy to assemble with provided tools. One outer ring was slightly bent, but we were able to assemble with other connecting pieces. Looks a little out of whack, but will not affect the performance of the fire pit. Did not feel comfortable trying to straighten it and compromise the piece.. Looking forward to using this. Very large inside space to accommodate larger pieces of wood. Very substantial and took 2 people to move. Very nice screened lid with ring and long poker rod with hook to lift screened top.
I purchased this fire pit for a family reunion and to use to hang around at night and to make smore's with. It's very heavy and looks really nice. You do have to put sand in the base. It is VERY large and I do like the black color with the animals around the base. Poker is included. I am glad that I got it and will use it quite often. I thought the price was reasonable.
