We researched all fire pits and happy we decided on the Landmann Super Sky. It is large enough for a crowd, yet a small fire can be started for a quick evening glass of wine. It is well constructed and came with a fire screen and poker. in our town a fire screen is required for safety so this aspect was important to us. Just this weekend our grandson enjoyed toasting marshmallows for smores. A big hit and a wonderful way to enjoy the backyard during our cool fall evenings in the North East.
This is the second one i have owned in 7 years, love it, all the neighbors ask where i got it. The first one i bought in 2006 used it every other week end in our cal de-sac.
I have owned the smaller Super Sky fire pit for many years and have enjoyed it very much. This fire pit is much larger and we are able to burn larger pieces of wood. It arrived faster that expected...Only took a couple of days to receive. I do recommend drilling a hole to allow any water that might collect.

I love the size of this Fire Pit. Lots of room for people to sit around. You can have a little or big fire and it warms the area better then the smaller ones. I previously spent big bucks on a SoJoe and it wasn't worth the money. It fell apart after two years. This one is made better and I am sure it will last longer.
great looking product when the fire is going. Easy to put together, took about 10 minutes. Looking forward to using it all through the fall.
After a long search to replace my existing fire pit, the Landmann Super Sky Fire Pit was everything I hoped it would be! It was easy to set up. I was impressed with the sturdy legs and the pit itself. The mesh cover is great on windy days. I learned from another review to place a couple bags of sand and a few small bricks in the pit before building a fire. I strongly recommend doing this. It makes a huge difference!
Very large, nice size fire pit. I'm 64 yrs. old & with the help of my 3 yr. old daughter, we had it put together in no time! Very easy to assemble. Large size accommodates small or large fire. Especially love the Spark Screen so I don't have to worry. It looks great in the daytime, but very nice in the dark with flames/embers showing through the cut out moons & stars. I Like the safety rail to help keep kids at a distance, as well as the long steel rod for moving wood. Its great, I'm very pleased with this purchase! I also bought the cover to help keep the weather out, but haven't used it yet. BTW, I purchased the steel mesh grill grate from a different retailer.
I shopped around a lot before I decided on this fire pit and I'm very happy with my decision. This fire pit not only looks great, but it's big and well made. I noticed Amazon was cheaper than Walmart but since this was a birthday gift for my husband I ordered through Walmart (it's easier to pick it up at the store rather than worry when the ups guy might arrive at my house). Walmart estimated it to arrive in a week and it arrived at the store in just two days! Also my husband loves it!
