I purchased this for the Thanksgiving Holiday for guests who wanted to relax in the backyard. Firstly, I painted the fireplace with High Heat Black as an added protection against rust for the upcoming winter weather. The height of it worked well with large logs and they burned very well.
Good quality and easy to assemble.
I really like this fire pit. It's large and has nice decorative animals on it. Looks great in my backyard.
We love it! Can't use it enough...if only we didn't have to deal with rainy weather.
I put together easily and it looks great. Haven't tried yet . No extra screws So don't loose one. Everything lined up .

It would be nice if the metal was a thicker gauge. Also a cover was included in the price. Very easy to put together.
Was what I expected when ordering. Would recommend based on good value for the sale price of $65.00. Constructed of light sheet metal/screening as expected -- can extend life by keeping under a cover during the season and treating it with black high-temp paint at end of season. Only disappointment was that a cover --even a light duty one-- was NOT included. It was not mentioned in the description, but I have bought other brand fire pits that included a cover without mentioning it in their description -- Landmann could have stated NO cover. The web site of the company has them available for $20 plus $10 shipping. To step for me for a $65 unit so I purchased an oversized generic on line for $13 including shipping. Could have used a black plastic garbage bag or small tarp if really on a budget and décor isn't an issue.
This is really great, sitting around feeding it my financial records. Occasionally the flames get roaring and reach out through the sides, so just sit back a bit. The poker is a bit small, for opening the door only, not for stirring the fire. If I could change one thing, I would put a trap door in the bottom to empty all the ashes out. I am very happy with it.
