My son loves these bottles, when I gave birth and tried bottle feeding I got this bottle from the manual pump set. Once I used this bottle he never wanted any other bottle. I don't breastfeed him anymore and he's 9months now still using this bottle but with formula and HE LOVES IT!
I researched these and other bottles before my son was born, as I planned to breastfeed and wanted to avoid nipple confusion. We introduced these at 3 weeks, and my son absolutely loves them! We do have issues with the nipples tearing some which makes feeding difficult since it comes out too fast. That being said, when they aren't torn, they are fantastic! We tried a different bottle, and he absolutely refused to take it. I only wish they had these nipples available in store so I didn't have to wait for them to come in.
I have tried several brands and nothing come close to Lansinoh. These are the best nipples you can get that mimic perfectly natural breast. It's super soft, It stretches softly when baby is sucking on it and I have transitioned my 2 boys from breast to bottle without hassle, allowing me to send them to daycare with peace of mind.
My grandson loves these bottles . I recommend the nipples if you're trying to find something close to the ones you receive at the hospital.
i bought the pump and it came with extra bottles no nipples so this was perfect
Favorite bottle nipples, these are perfect for breastfeeding moms! My son only takes these as they best represent breastfeeding. Shape of nipple and silicone is similar to actual one.
My son is 8 months old but I choose a slow flow nipple to help prevent bottle flow preference (over breastfeeding). The BreastFlow slow nipples seemed too slow and the Evenflow slow nipples seemed too fast. These seem just right. I like that I could use these nipples with my existing Evenflow and MAM bottles, rather than spending the money (and plastic waste) of the Lansinoh bottles. I have not had nipple collapse with these. The silicone is very soft. I like the way my son's latch looks on these, although no bottle nipple is perfect. No complaints.
Bought this for my newborn to have a bottle that would complement the breastfeeding since I will need to go back to work but the slow flow nipple is way to fast for my newborn. She chokes on it just as much as she does with my oversupply and fast letdown within the first few weeks of birth regardless of baby and bottle positioning They need a slower flow nipple.
I delivered very prematurely and have a very low milk supply, so my babe has to work pretty hard to get milk from my breast. I love the shape of these nipples and had high hopes for this bottle to be a solution to help my baby continue to love a breast that doesn't feed him a ton of milk. Instead, these nipples drown him: he gags and chokes and spills milk around the nipple and ultimately spits up from all the air he takes in while gasping to keep up with the flow. This is true even when following the recommendations to hold baby more upright and bottle more horizontal. There is just no way to adequately slow thr flow for my baby. As comparison, Dr. Browns offer three levels of slow-flow: preemie, transitional, and level 1; Lanisoh slow-flow is much faster than Dr. Browns level 1. While I like the nipple shape and ease of assembly of these Lanisoh bottles much better than any other bottles we've tried, I'm disappointed that a bottle specifically designed to help with breast feeding wouldn't offer a nipple appropriate for baby-mom pairs like us who work very hard to maintain the small amount of breast feeding we can but depend on bottles to get adequately fed. Like the many others who are discouraged by a supposedly breast-like bottle that only represents some gold standard breast, I implore Lanisoh to make an ultra slow flow nipple so those of us with slower-flowing milk and slower-eating babies can take advantage of this otherwise excellent bottle.
I made the mistake of buying 5 packs of the Natural Wave 2S "slow flow" nipples to replace my Philips Avent nipples since my LC recommended these which mimic the shape of our nipples for breastfed babies. My 6 week old baby literally chugged 4 oz of milk in 2 minutes which is not normal and this is with feeding by the paced bottle feeding method where the bottlenit tilted at a 90 degree angle to make baby work harder tonsuck the milk out. It usually takes him 15 minutes with the Avent nipples. It's really unfortunate because I like the shape of these nipples so that my baby can continue working on a deep latch but there is no way I can keep using these since it will cause more nipple confusion. I wish I read the reviews for this product before purchasing because its evident that many customers have had the same experience.
