[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to review the postpartum recovery kit. I wish I had known about this product for after my first. I have been using the items from this kit for the last two weeks as I recover from the birth of my LO. Overall each of these products on their own have been wonderful to use, and the fact they all come in one kit is even better. This would be a great baby shower gift to give as most people do not think of mommy... including mommy. Man did it make after care healing a breeze (well all things considered). What I loved: The peri bottle design was perfect for hitting all those hard to reach spots which need to be cleaned the most. I felt like I had access to my own personal bidet in my bathroom. The way the spout is angled worked perfectly to splash water from front to back, ensuring a full clean each time I needed to use it. I am very interested in using products which are not filled with chemicals and the postpartum healing spray provided me with this option, I used other products with my first pregnancy and although they had a similar quality, the actual application of this particular bottle was far easier to apply. The other products I used claimed to be able to spray while up side down... this one actually worked! When trying to hit all the hard to reach places, being able to spray upside down makes this product usable. What was okay, but wasn't IN LOVE with: The ice pack was just okay. While I did like the shape of the ice pack, I felt like other items in my freezer worked better to ease the discomfort. I used this ice pack pre-birth as I was one of the lucky women who suffered from vericose veins in my lady parts. Due to the swelling I was looking for something to give me a little relief and this ice pack did do that. However, it only lasted for a few minutes and then I used one of my other ice packs in my freezer to continue the relief. Again, while the ice pack was not as cold as I would have liked for healing postpartum, this kit is 100% worth picking up or gifting to a friend. I will still use the ice pack for other needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit gives you piece of mind that you have 3 basic things you need when you come home from the hospital. The bottle is super easy to use given its shape and material and it easily stows away. The hospital will send you home with one but you will want one in each bathroom and this one is easier to use. The hot and cold packs ended up working great for helping me with breastfeeding. I didn't realize I'd need hot and cold compresses when my supply came in. I didn't end up needing the spray as I was sent home with witch hazel pads and didn't have much discomfort once home. However, I did test it and it felt like a light, gentle mist and didn't cause any irritation. Overall, instead of piecing together various products, I'd recommend just purchasing a kit and calling it a day! These were all nice quality products I found handy and easy to use. I used this kit after the birth of my second child and ladies…you NEED this. Having the right postpartum essentials makes all the difference. A few things: - the peri bottle: the one the hospital gives you requires that you basically put your hand in the toilet to get the right angle (or basically spray your bathroom) this bottle keeps everything contained and makes staying clean a breeze. - the spray: cooling relief and perhaps the best part is that it works upside down so you're not doing gymnastics trying to get it in the right places. - the cooling pads: so many cooling pads, including the ones they send you home with from the hospital, feel great for 5 min and then you're just wet and uncomfortable. I love these pads because they provide cooling relief, but don't have ice melting in them to make you uncomfortable quickly. You can also heat them, which is helpful to place on your pelvis if you get postpartum cramping. Overall, the convenience of this bundle cannot be understated. You won't regret having this in your hospital bag and postpartum recovery kit.
This was bought as a gift for a friend for her baby shower. However I myself have had three kids and used some of these products. I love the perineal bottle due to being able to use it at any angle. It is also easy to clean out. I like the spray but my favorite is the foam. As far as the ice pad goes I have never used it much as cooling because I like heat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently gave birth and had been waiting to try this kit since I received it as apart of the Stellar Product Testing panel. The kit contains three separate products, the herbal spray, hot and cold therapy packs and a peri bottle. While you get a lot of things in the hospital when you give birth, I found that this kit was a nice upgrade on the basics. For starters, the peri bottle is my favorite piece in this set for 3 reasons: the spout is angled providing greater reach to those sensitive post-birth areas. Second it comes with a bag and third the bottle is a solid color which for a modest lady living with all men is a huge plus for my privacy. The second product is an herbal spray which is not quite as strong as the stuff you may get in the hospital but does the job and has a nice earthy smell. Actually it being less strong was a plus to me since it didn't burn my stitched area like the hospital grade stuff. The last product are the hot and cold therapy packs. They come in a set of two with covers but I actually used them for relief from my engorgement after my milk came in. They were a great size to fit over my chest without being in the way. All in all I definitely recommend this kit as a gift for someone or a nice purchase for yourself preparing for birth. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing for sending me this to try out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the days following labor and delivery can be very painful and tiring, thankfully this Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kit has made it much easier to get through! My favorite product in this kit has been the perineal cold packs, they provide quick relief and come with disposable covers. The general ache and pain in the birthing canal is instantly cooled with these ice packs and the best part is they can be refrozen and ready to use again within an hour. The next product is the Herbal Postpartum Spray which I loved!! The spray they give you at the hospital has all sorts of bad chemicals in it and I love knowing that when using this spray I'm not applying anything harmful to my body, the sprays offers relief from burning and itching almost instantly and lasts for awhile and the best part is there isn't a weird smell or texture left over from using it. The other product that came in this kit was the spray bottle which is a necessity to keep clean and ease the Burn of urinating and it has certainly helped me through these couple weeks postpartum. It's almost like a personal bidet and leaves you feeling clean and cool. I use cold water in the morning and warm at night. Overall I really enjoyed this kit and it was extremely helpful for my recovery, I did receive it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I would recommend this to any woman who is pregnant to have ready in the hospital bag!

I was up in the air about spending the extra money in deciding to invest on postpartum kit or not. I will tell you Moma it was worth it. Starting with the postpartum wash bottle, the comparison to the “free” bottle given at the hospital is such a delightful upgrade. The postpartum wash bottle also came with a travel bag so if you need to go out visiting family or shopping it can discretely fit in your purse. The second must have would be the postpartum hot and cold therapy packs. It comes with two reusable packs and 12 disposable sleeves. If you receive any degree of tearing or general soreness you will be more than pleased with the cooling you will receive from the cold pack. Now that I'm healing and well into the fun phase of breast feeding I have utilized the hot therapy packs to sooth my swollen breast. Absolutely the best of both worlds and a definite must have. Lastly was the Herbal Postpartum Spray, I used this about a week after birth I feel like it helped with my overall healing. I would spray a small amount of the herbal spray on panty liner. Definitely helped with the sticking and gave nice soothing sensation. I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family. It's definitely a nice gift to get for your friend or family who's a first time mom.
I liked the fact that the jelly things were reusable. I used them for breast feeding too. The peri bottle is better than the one the hospital gives. It reaches further. And the spray helped a lot.
The gel packs don't stay cold very long.

I liked the spray bottle and how it was easy to use allowing the water to spray upwards while holding the bottle upside down. The bottle also came in a nice bag to keep it stored away. The reusable pads were okay. I only used them for the cold, I didn't feel the need for warm. I was really frustrated when opening the herbal spray. It was sealed tight with plastic wrap that made it difficult to open, which is not what I was needing when trying to get some instant relief. However, once I did get it opened I liked the cooling sensation the spray gave. I don't know that I would ever buy this item for myself, or give it as a gift. I feel like the products given to you in the hospital to use and take home are much better quality and much more practical, plus they're free! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try out this kit!
