Reasonable price for a quality product. The finish is beautiful. The micro bead cushion allows me to position the desk perfectly no matter where I use it. The storage area is convenient with ample space for cards, paper, address book, calculator, ruler, pens, pencils and etc. The dividers keep items organized for quick, easy access.
This is the best lap desk I ever had...all the rest were plastic. I write a lot and find it easy to use even when sitting in comfortable chair. That way I use it during the commercials on TV instead of listening or seeing all the ads. The pillow on bottom has more substance than my former plastic one had. This one is great!
I am impressed with the quality and usefulness of this Lap Desk. The large storage compartments are useful for keeping supplies organized, and can hold a large amount of supplies. I am very impressed that this model can hold all of my study supplies, so that I don't have to hunt for supplies as I need them. Getting organized has greatly improved my study time and I like the idea of all my supplies in one convenient place. Also something I like to note is that the felt lining prevents the items from rolling around to much which is very nice. Lap desks are a valuable study aid by providing a portable writing surface for the user to study from any where they are comfortable, and keeping all supplies and books together as needed. This is a great gift for any student or aspiring artist to have. This is a lap desk you will be proud to own and use for years to come.

I am glad I purchased this lap desk. I especially like the storage compartment, under the top of the desk...The lap desk has a nice classy look to it...
Nice lap desk for sitting and working with my notebook or netbook while watching a little TV. Especially nice when it's time to get up, and you can just set the whole thing aside. Good quality and the lap cushion is enough without being "pillow-like". The storage is good for my memory sticks and some pens and my mouse and some blank cd's, etc. I'm really enjoying the product.
This desk is nice looking, comfortbale and convenient. The only thing I wish I could change would be the width dimension. It's a little short left-to-right, yet, fits a laptop nicely; however, with a 15" laptop there is only 1.5" left on each side. In my opinion, this could be a little wider to place a wireless mouse, or even rest an arm. The price is probably about right for the craftsmanship (very good) and mahogany. Overall, it serves its purpose.
Lid came loose after about 5 times of opening it. Have tried gluing it. Waiting to see if that works.
The lid broke in first opening. The screws pulled out and could not be fixed because of cheap wood! Was never used! Stay away from this item because it was not worth effort to order and wait.
