This hammock is fabulous! I was expecting a standard size even though I read reviews that claimed it was large. This hammock is HUGE and so comfortable. It is my favorite spot on cool and breezy afternoons and evenings. It withstands and holds my two dogs jumping on it and napping with me (and neither are little dogs at 45 and 80 pounds). We love this hammock! Go on, buy it! It's a great value and nice looking too... wish I'd have gotten this one first!
Bought this as a gift for my husband and I must say I spend so much time in that he barely gets a chance to use it!! Might just buy another exactly like it and put it right beside! It's way better than the cloth or rope ones that get wet and never dry
So far this has proved to be a great Father's Day present as well as a sturdy hammock. It has been rained on and dried out. It has stretched out a bit- which was expected. It was a fair price and it seems it will last us for many backyard summers to come.
We purchased this hammock on a recommendation from Walmart when we purchased a hammock stand. The quality of the hammock is excellent. It has a nice look to it and really adds something to our patio. My husband and our girls just love it. I have not left it out in the rain, only because I am not sure if the water will take the strength out of the rope, but it is so easy to remove why take the chance. The product looked better in person than online.
I purchased this hammock for my husband's Father's Day present and he was thrilled! It is very comfortable and easily fits two people! We are enjoying this by our pool-side along with our 3 yr. old daugther.. Definitely another great buy with Walmart!!
I ordered they product with a stand. I put it away when im not using to prevent theft. Very easy to set up / put away. Was a little concerned at first the material would stretch in the center after laying in it, but roll it up, and take it back out again, and it's just like new. Not a concern now. It's very nice, I love it.
So glad I chose this hammock, never a worry about it getting wet while watering the garden or cleaning the deck. Should hold up really well in our Hot California climate. The material is a bit stiffer and doesn't mold to your body but it's big enough for 2...just add a comfey pillow and relax.
The hammock was a great price. I bought a similar one for a gift for almost twice the price. However this one did not fit my hammock stand exactly and it took a couple of hours to modify it. Overall we like the hammock and would use walmart.com again.
The fabric is comfortable. It is not scratchy. The only drawback is it is slippery. We were used to the rope style, so it took us a bit to learn how to get in and out. Now we like it. The ropes that tie it on arethe same as the ones that our old hammocks were made with. That type of rope only lasts ue 2-3 summers before they break. The service of the Site to Store was great.
I actually bought this last Summer. Within of two weeks, the stain was coming off the wood spreaders. Within a month, the hammock was ripping from the rings (where the ropes attached) and other parts of the hammock were creating holes. I brought the hammock in during the winter months, once I took it back out about a month ago, the ropes started to break. I would hope it would hold someone 130lbs without breaking apart! I should have returned this hammock last year when it started to fall apart after a few weeks. Now, I have to look for a new hammock and there is no way I would buy this one again! I also live in a dry area so the destruction of the hammock was not caused by summer storms. I used to use the product at least a few times a week. Now, I can't use it at all.
