My son has a damp basement and is trying to build a room down there so I purchased this for him and it works great in combination with a dehumidifier.
Love that they are doing colors! Wish the blue was available. Sounds is great as I like a loud fan for the white noise while sleeping.
Very powerful, not as loud as I'd expected, easy to operate, and very stable. It was a godsend for me during this brutal Texas heat.
i had to replace my old fan whichbwas the same brand ! and had the old one for 5 years and it still works but wanted a new fan! i used it 24/7 put next to heater and cooler vents so it was getting black! this time i put a filter in front of vent but im very suprised that the old one still works!
Lots of air flow. I put a filter behind my'n to make a hepa filter. It is a little loud, but is a nice white noise.
I have been wanting a black fan for a long time, finally found one! I have a black long-haired cat and her hair is always getting caught in the front and back grill as well as on the blades, this made it necessary to take the fan apart and clean it every 2 weeks, now it doesn't show, so I will only have to take apart and clean them every couple of months! They are kinda noisy, but normal for a box fan. This fan cost me $5 more than the white fans, but all in all I fell it was worth it to have a black fan. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the higher cost...
This fan is probably made of the cheapest plastic possible, and it looks like quality control was sleeping on the job. When I first turned it on, the motor squeaked terribly and needed oiled, and one of the blades was warped and kept hitting the back of the fan. I had to take it apart before it would run quietly. It functions now, but who knows how long it will run? It doesn't seem durable at all. I only bought it because it is black.
This is really flimsy, the plastic feet you attach is hard to make it stand up well without wedging it near something. the fan is really light and shakes bad when on. It will do for the covered porch for now and I hope it holds up and does not burn out.
I ordered 2 of these on same order. They came in 2 different shipments for some random reason and both were damaged. Due to the price and distance of my local supercenter, taking them in for a return or replacement just wasnt worth it. Which forced me to have to fix both items by taking them apart and straightening the frames.
Not much to like. We put the feet on and started the fan. Not enough air and unstable, shakes and wobbles on all speeds. Not a good box fan. Blades are EXTREMELY narrow. I do not recommend this box fan for purchase.
