The fan moves air and is relatively quiet. Air is directed to the point where it is needed.
I already own this same fan at home and as an over the road trucker I needed a reliable fan that moved allot of air at night and well this bad boy does the trick. Best of all it only uses 125 watts and i can run it off a 300 watt power inverter in my truck with no problems.
I like the fact that the fan has a wider stance than the others I own. The metal handle is a lot better than the plastic ones on my other fans as well! Might just be me but I think it moves a little more air as well!
The fact that it has 2 extention type plugs on the side make this unit act like an extension cord which is very handy for is.
The Pro Performance High Velocity Utility Fan is a great product for my needs. My 30 + year old A/C went out 2 1/2 years ago and family members installed 3 window A/C units in different windows in the house. They worked great as long as you were in that particular room and you were in close proximity to them. I bought some window fans to help spread the cool air around, but they only worked if you were standing 2 feet in front of them. So I bought this high velocity fan with hopes that it would help spread some joy in more of the house. Within minutes of turning it on, you could feel the difference in surrounding areas and into other rooms. The most important one was with the window A/C in the kitchen. By putting the Pro Performance High Velocity Fan on the counter about 21/2 feet away, it sucked in the cold air and spread it throughout a lot of the house. So I bought another one and put it on a table at the other end of the house and now the house is livable again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Pro Performance High Velocity Fan With Integrated power outlets, made by LASKO for any purpose that you need a high velocity fan for!!
The best fan I've ever owned. I used to think Vornado's were great until I bought this. Compared to this fan, the Vornado is like a cheap desk fan. I now own 6 of these fans.
We purchased this fan after visiting a friend's house with a similar fan. I would have never thought to use this fan indoors. However, it takes the coolest air in the house (on the floor) and shoots it across the room. We have skylights in our house and it tends to get warm in the summer (even with AC). This cools it right off. It would also be nice for camping (mosquitos can't fly in the wind), for a shop, or for any project (drying wet paint on walls or freshly washed floors). The whole fan rotates, so you can put it whatever angle you want to.
As a drummer, I need a good fan to keep me cool when performing at outside venues in the Texas humid heat. I've used this fan before, provided by a sound company, but had to have one of my own.
Not sure why they call this a Pro-Performance High Velocity, it had a normal wind Velocity. The unit is nice looking but was small & had no power for an almost a $70 fan.
Not even a year old and broke
