make up at its best, love the slight shimmer this gives my skin, easy to get the right coverage form light to medium, not settling into my little wrinkles. I've been using this for about 4 years now and i really hope LG never discontinue, I'd be lost without this.
I ordered this in fair and it was a bit too dark. When I got in touch with customer service about exchanging, they were wonderful! I exchanged for porcelain and it was a perfect match!! It leaves your skin really smooth with a healthy glow! I still use a little highlighter, but you can really just skip it if you want to. Wonderful product!!!
As I'm now 60 I find my skin doesn't do well with liquid foundation, this powder works perfectly, it's glowy, dewy and just so light but has great coverage. I love it!
Where do I start. I'm addicted. My full-face Laura Geller products photo says it all. My friends bragged on the natural but flawlessly look, and I absolutely love how it floats on my face atop the Hydrate spackle primer.
I'm 65. My skin is in pretty good shape but I have a few capillaries high on my cheekbones from skiing and a few on and around my eyes. I was hesitant to use a powder as typically it tends to look crepey and accentuates my fine lines as well as settling in them. I've found the color correcting powder won't do any of that when I apply a primer beforehand. My skin tone is evened and it doesn't budge regardless of my activities (gym & gardening). After applying I spritz a setting spray on and your'd never know I was wearing make up at all. I've received many compliments about the texture & quality of my skin. Try it! You'll like it.
This is PERFECT for me. Initially, I used this in conjunction with another of the Baked Foundations, in Porcelain, and used this primarily to tone down the shininess of that one. I just tried this by itself, and found the finish to be perfect for my Nordic/Scots ruddy-pale skin! The yellow tones in this correct the overly-reddish tones in my skin, and the satin finish is PERFECT. As a lifelong user of liquid foundations, this is a much, much better solution for those of us who've reached a certain age- my old "usual" face was starting to look cracky, dense, and AGED. Time for grown-up makeup, for actual grown-up skin. This is going to be my go-to, from now on! Thank you, Laura Geller, for giving us REAL alternatives for mature faces!
I really liked the way it applies with a brush. First time in years I haven't used a cream foundation. I never leave the house without face makeup (I can't wear eye makeup due to severe eczema)so I really like to try for a smooth flawless face and this stuff looks fabulous all by it self. I just use a brush and then a powder buff after I apply lotion. It doesn't look dry or powdery. Unfortunately I dropped it and the lid broke off and all the product crumbled and landed upside down on the floor. Totally upset. I only used it a few weeks and I really miss it in my makeup bag.
Against my better judgement i succombed to the advertising and tried balance and brighten. So very glad i did! It's all true, just a few extra strokes here and there and my complexion looks wonderful. It lasts very well too, even after an aerobics session. At the next sale i stocked up. I can't imagine ever using liquid makeup again.
I love this makeup. In my 68 years I have used many different brands and formulas. This one covers those age marks that I wish would disappear and stays put throughout the day. It doesn't settle into the laugh lines around my eyes and it isn't sticky so wayward hairs or dust don't stick. The color is great and blends into my own skin tones. The brushes are really nice and are the perfect way to apply the make-up.
Ok so i love the way baked makeup power-liquid compact feels on my skin. It has a very subtle makeup look, which i also love. I only wear makep occasionally and prefer heavy moisturizer and/or bb cream (tints.) I wpuld buy again and it is my choice when i wear makeup. However after a short period of time, it loses consistency and color fades to almost nothing. So if you use it up fast its fine but for someone who uses makeup once in awhile you may want something that stores better..longer shelf life.
