The Durango Kid is back in one of his most exciting adventures ever. Charles Starrett stars as mild-mannered businessman Steve Langtry and his superheroic cowboy alter-ego. The Durango Kid in "Law Of The Canyon." The nefarious Hood Gand has been ambushing Jackson City-bound coaches and stealing them out from under their owners. Posing as businessman Steve Langtry, The Durango Kid infiltrates the gang's scam. Since the ailing Sheriff Coleman (George Chesebro) is unable to stop the group, his firebrand daughter Mary (Nancy Saunders) and young son Spike (Buzz Henry) spearhead a posse to safeguard wagons through Skeleton Pass. When the gang wises up to Langtry's identity, they hold Durango prisoner at a secret mountain hideaway until The Kids' singing sidekick (Smiley Burnette) arrives with the posse to set matters right again in Jackson City. Journey back to a thrilling time of singing cowboys, frontier romance and heroic battles between good and evil.
